just like the rider bike ( being br II too ).
that too has an mg34 but it’s unironically better as it has no overheat, faster reload ( although less ammunitions. 75 compared to the 150 of the halftrack ), and no disperison unlike the handheld mg34.
but, i’d say balanced considering that you only have 2 / 3 soldiers on it.
Basically every german tank has mg34 as coax, no matter which BR it has. This is basically the same thing.
not quite.
overheat and ammo capacity differ from various machines
as well as rate of fire in some ( rare ) instances
True I guess.
Would be cool though even if just for style points if in Tunisia you saw MG-34 on Hanomag and in Berlin - MG-42.
Overheat is after 100 bullet shot iirc for every vehicle MG. So it depends on fire rate.
Except for the American motorcycle with 250 round box magazine
yeah that’s the point.
for example, the hand held mg and the bike mg do not have overheats.
haltrack overheats after 40/50 bullets.
tanks, more bullets before overheating
yep, large capacity but low rate of fire and longer reload
So they’re even worse version of those mg. Didn’t know that.
Tbh, those MGs on APCs are gimmicks anyway. You don’t want to sit in those vehicles. It’s not efficient and all you’re doing is attracting attention to it. So it’s more likely to be destroyed.
It’s not that long and you can Snipe across the map with this thing and you can keep people’s heads down with it
yeah… unfortunately they are
so you have to use it in single fire or very short bursts like a bren gun ( more like in real life than in this game )
true.
but i have so much fun doing it,
legit similar to blitz krieg.
my first match was a blast.
tunisia, covering the infantry, using buildings as cover for rally, and relocate every 30 secs after few kills. no casualties too lol. ( most likely… against bots… )
second match too, as defender.
standing 60/70 meters away from the objective and picking out targets from the flanks while the tank faced the main.
truly an unique experience.
you can do that with the german bike too.
as, that’s the only way you can somewhat reliably use them.
or flank and cut enemy reinforcements.
personally, i find to be more effective the german one because of the rate of fire, and relative faster reload. ( let alone no dispersion )

True but if you get into a Japanese match you can start being evil to the Japanese and if you have a friend he can cover you while you reload
using bikes on the pacific is kinda both rewarding and a nightmare.
a nightmare because if you do not have a fully upgraded bike, you will be sliding alot and being stuck in a random rock or slipper terrain.
worse, an entire river.
rewarding because it’s fun to mow down the japanese AA from the top with the machinegun or ambush them.
legit, i lost my shit for 5 minutes straights.
i was trying to cut the enemy reinforcements but i lost time trying to reach the objective so i came late.
i still managed to ambush two aas and killed the crew.
with that being said, japanese players love to have snipers.
so you dont really stand much of a chance unless you relocate your self after every 2 / 3 kills ( aka, be frequently paranoic and always on the move ).
which bikes can be great for mowing infantry at distance too,
but there’s only so much ground you can try to do that.
meaning that, gavutu, and georgia are a bit difficult to use bikes.
guardalcanal is slighlty more bike friendly.
which always end up dying from snipers
( fair game after all. one can be the counter of the other )
True but I’m saying it would be miserable for the other side if you have friends and I ran out of hearts again
