Can the new AP-4C US aircraft be used in Pacific?

I just bought the AP-4C, but usually play mid tier as nicer toys and fights IMHO. I thought this plane was BR3, but it’s not it’s BR4, which I though Pacific would not be playable or am I mistaken? If I put all Br3 gear on me, I get a 50./ 50 chance of Pacific, if I change my P40, to AP-4C (Corsair) can I still get matched with Pacific?

Yes, you can play Pacific with BR IV Allies.

It’s up to BR IV only. If you’re in BR V you cannot match with Japan.

Ok, sorry but now confused, I have a L, M and H tier squad lineup. Usually I run P40 and p51d, all my mid tier are BR3 only. (Sometimes Pacific, sometimes, Tunisia, Normandy or Ardennes too - if only using allies)

Now if I swap P40e for Corsair AP-4C, I either become BR4 so will always get matched against H tier (BR3,4&5), as allies which means I will get Normandy, Ardennes?

My point is, that I really want to play Pacific and try the new plane out, if I put Corsair in H tier lineup, I will have BR5 rating, so that won’t match Pacific, because that is on BR4 currently.

I just want to fly my Pacific plane over a Pacific map, there were no Corsairs in Europe, so will not use in Ardennes, Normandy.

Ok Thanks, so I need another Preset, if I want to increase likelihood of Pacific? A BR4 no higher Preset.(Which means I will not get Tunisia anymore I presume as BR4)

Be aware that’s BR4 Pacific is heavily in favor for Japanese atm. I very often see 6-8 Marshalls on Japanese side.
There’s going to be a lot of hard fighting, good luck.

I am one of the few in my clan who play mid tier predominantly, although there are some brilliant players, they complain when up-tiered, I adapt and put in suitable counters to KT and Panthers when allied mid tier. So I’m used to a hard fight, but appreciate heads up.

Supposedly if you run a mix of different tiers in your country’s the game will match you will a higher rated tier even though you have a lower rated tier selected, but the system is still not working well, as despite running all I and II I still get matched with IV and V on occasion

Trying to play Pacific most day, wanted to fly Corsair not a single match on BR4… maybe tomorrow :man_guard:

You are very likely fighting german at BR5 though

Yep, sadly, but p51d is great for tanks, got a lot of Bulge matches yesterday, will see today, I want to fight in Pacific and use my new shiny plane…
