I think yes stalingrad enginer are allowed to use assault rifle, obliviusly i dont think is a good choice however is not better than the mkb42h and both weapon have more dispersion than the mg42 so it kill all possibility of long range engage AKA semi-auto and BA gonna … you
(My personal note: as far i tested mkb series is less effective than the currently new mp40, and i can classificate here as filler weapon, is more a early game carabine than something you want use permamentaly)
