Can’t use Medkit as a pilot(Xbox X/S)?

Seems to be something broken with D-Pad on Xbox. Or if this is part of they game that’s fine.

Just wondering why I get the option to use Medkit when I’m wounded but when I push down on the D-pad nothing happens.

I use Medkit on tanke crew same way no issues.

Also there’s no access to the social wheel menu(default “UP” on D-Pad) on console for pilots.

I really want to ask/remind people to mark targets when I’m flying but for pilots UP on D-Pad selects your pilot?!?

I can use the command wheel with no problem, maybe there’s more than one input in the same button

You play on Console, Xbox X/S?

By default UP on Dpad for pilot chooses crew member 1(pilot). It’s shows in bottom
left of HUD.

Also by default UP on Dpad calls up the command wheel. By default both share same hotkey. This is my point.

I do play on xbox but I’ve customized my controls to suit my taste

I switched Flaps to “Y” and “B” so the default Medkit and command wheel can stay default.

Devs might want to do the same so as to not cause this confusion for console player pilots.

Console pilot controls have many issues. “Free look” isn’t free. I bind LB + Left stick to “Look around” and the default function of Left Stic(Rudder) still activated when I use the combo. That’s not how hotkey combos are supposed to work. The LB + Left Stick combo should override the default function of left stick so o can free look without activating the damned rudder.
