I Don’t Currently Own Any of These Vehicles Yet But I Was Looking At Both of Them When I Realized that They Share the Exact Same Stats, Which I Would Find Fine But You Have to Actually Research the M4A1 Which Would Be a Huge Waste of Time, The Only Advantage I Could See On the M4A1 Was that It Has a Smaller Profile than the M2 Sherman. I Hope that The M4A1 Maybe Has Better Ammo or It Really Is Just a Waste of Time.

M4A2 has Rolled homogeneous armour which mean they are armor value are slightly better than cast armor as well as better frontal armor layout removing the weakpoint present in the M4A1. M4A1 has a weaker engine but moves faster due to ligther weight while the M4A2 has a minor upgrade in Engine but is slower due to the heavier weight.
both have the same ammo.

Sherman II and Sherman M4a1 are identical. Sherman II is the british designation for M4a1. As for the M4A2 vs M4A1 the difference has already been explained.

Actually, the sherman 2 has thicker armor on the corners of the front on the hull than the M4A1. Besides that, the Sherman 2’s 12,7 mm rooftop MG has a smaller model (It doesn’t have the ammo bin) than the M4A1’s, which maybe makes it harder to disable? The M4A1’s breech looks smaller than that of the sherman 2’s which is a redeeming quality. These are all the diffrences I could find.
