I was wondering, if I buy the M1928A1 Thompson Squad squad, could I equip it with appropriate BR II weapons and use it there? I can do this with some of my premium squads, but not all, and it’s unclear for me how to make the difference before buying the,
Furthermore, especially if the answer is “no”; are there any Allied paratrooper squads that I can use at BR II at all?

No.
No/ There is are two Event BR2 Paratrooper Squads for the Allies but they were available in 2023 so you canonly get them via ocassional Veteran boxes.
All silver squads can replace weapons that meet the classes requirements. The UK and the US each have a br2 airborne squad, but they are event squads and cannot be obtained at the moment.
Oh, really? That’s a bit disappointing; I love the Allies BR II line-up, but not having Paratroopers is a big let down for me.
And this occasionally-available BR II Paratrooper squad / Veteran Boxes; do you know, how often is it available?
There only was ONE iteration of veteran boxes to date… So the system is pretty new…

It’s really lame we got TT guerrillas sooner than TT paras.
It has been 1,5 year since paratroopers were introduced. I believe it’s already time to add paras to tech tree. They are definitely not broken or something, quite the opposite. Just gimmick class at this point.
If the Battle Pass BSA 1929 Thompson is still available, you can buy four of them from the Battle Pass which you equip an assaulter squad would give you a level 2 Thompson squad. I have those four Thompsons, and one I bought as a premium squad along with a UD M42 squad all level 2. I don’t think at the moment you can buy the Thompson or the UD M42 squads though. Below is what I use when I play level two allies. The squad pictured is all BP weapons. I also switch between the Lanchester and the M1A1 Grease gun.
