to be fair Steam allows you to refund a game because it went on sale within a week or something of you buying it.

I don’t really think Darkflow needs to do the same though lol

You’ve spent your money and gotten what you paid for.
The fact that it goes on sale after you bought it means nothing.
My suggestion would be to only buy stuff during sales to be safe.

To quote Steam’s policy

ABUSE

Refunds are designed to remove the risk from purchasing titles on Steam—not as a way to get free games. If it appears to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you. We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price.

So yes Steam does let you refund it if a sale comes, if its still refundable under normal terms.
However this would just add in a headache for Gaijin support that is unneeded.

I mean, yeah, thats why I said I don’t think Gaijin needs to do it. Steam sales are critical to Steam’s image so it makes sense they want to be as generous as possible.
