Bren mkI and besal are in BR II, ZB-26 is a similar weapon, but with a 20 round charger… why is it in BR III?

It has significantly higher fire rate, so maybe that’s why.
Yep it has a higher rate, but still less ammo… besal has significally higher fire time before charging and it’s more controllable than ZB, It doesn’t seem very fair to me to put them on two different levels

I don’t think MG balance discussions matter until we have properly working bipods.
I don’t need bipods, I use the final technique of no scope shooting hoping to catch something
Shouldn’t then SMGs be the better alternative?
It makes sense to be in br2: it’s got a high rate of fire, but it’s also got the highest vertical recoil of any German mg, and it takes twice as long to reload a magazine than it does to empty it.
Personally I find it practically unusable.

I do it with SMGs too, i like to change
In long range shooting it’s a good weapon, it has little dispersion and if you shoot with small burst it does its job… but not in br3

I prefer the Breda: it’s got the same accuracy, recoil, and reload speed; but it’s slower rof makes it much more controllable, and the mag position gives it a better sight picture. Plus it’s got a cool reload animation.
I’d say they are comparable guns for slightly different play styles, and should both be br2
