I still use it in my lineup. only short belt, used in 2-3 seconds. but reload as fast as if on Pervitin™ also more ammunition than usual.

Thanks,I may cave in to the snail and buy this along with a few other purchases
But as soon as we get 100rd or 300rd MG 42 (maybe with night vision) it will be useless

The MG45 would also have to have a 250 belt so it would not be obsolete and even less so when they raise the rate of fire from 1650 to 1800 So you won’t have a problem
Performace wise what do this guys have above the MG 42 Early or MG39 Squads ?
As far as I remember is higher fire rate
Rate of fire of 1650, Reload Time 3.8 Seconds, Better accuracy in Vertical and Horizontal Recoil where it makes it more Lethal,I am very much in love with this beauty that I was finally able to buy after a long time. It is the best lightweight from Germany above the MG42.
I also forgot to mention that the MG45 has the Fastest Reload Time of all German Machine Guns
The whole second faster reload sounds cool as with my MG39 i got to reload a bit too often and its 4.8sec to load it.
They’re pretty similar. Closer to the MG-39 squad as they have similar stat lines and weapon RoFs, though the weapon sights are more like the MG-42 Early or regular MG-42.
I have all three in my BR4 lineup, they’re very fun.
MG45 is slightly better than MG42 early (mainly because of significantly larger ammo reserve). But on the other hand MG42 squad comes with two engineers instead of one.
MG39 is significantly worse than both MG45 and MG42 early statwise.
I seldom play BR4 so I’m fine with MG39 
Im not gonna spend 20+ bucks on something I won’t use.
MG42 Early is way more accurate than MG45 but has worse sprint penalty. Ammo reserve doesn’t matter since you have two engineers anyway.
MG45, MG42 early and MG39 squads are easily usable in BR5.
5x (MG45/MG42 early/MG39) > 3x MG15

True, but I dont use MGs in BR5 European Axis.
I will reconsider once they get a proper 100 round MG.

real, I recently bought Panzerwerfer 42 and spent 10 minutes trying to figure out which squad to switch with it.
Poor flame pasta boys got moved to reserves.

They should let us to have separate presets for attack/defense/conquest/confrontation.
Since some squads simply aren’t versatile enough. This could solve the problem with lack of slots.
