Hello, I’m reporting this here because I encounter it every game. Most enemy tanks camp on their spawn where the I can’t go. I can’t destroy it with an explosive pack, the other allied tank is not in play or is elsewhere, and destroying tanks with a plane is difficult if anyone even has a plane. I can’t destroy it with an anti-tank weapon (PTRS-41) because tank is far and angled. Furthermore, an engineer can build an AT gun, but when I tried it, the tank destroyed me in the middle of building it. In WWII, infantry mostly destroyed tanks by getting close, waiting for the tank to be sideways to them, and throwing an explosive / panzerfaust (which the Soviets don’t have) at them. They definitely didn’t have a place where infantry could and couldn’t. I also understand that the map is limited, that’s 100% understandable. That’s why I have an option here that will completely remove these camping tanks from the game: Forbid the tanks to shoot if they are in the “forbidden” zone. It won’t hurt anything, it will help a lot.
I played one game with one Panzer IV camped in one location from start to end of the game, only occasionally going for ammo, and the enemy winning the game because of him, isn’t exactly cool .

Mostly 2 / 2 tanks in the game. Mostly these two tanks are in other elsewhere, and i have only T-70 which is free kill for Panzer IV. If T-34 rides to Panzer IV, panzer is stronger and destroy that T-34. If T-34 destroys Panzer IV, anhoter Panzer spawns and comes to camp again.
Sounds like you have a bad team problem there where a good team would spot those tanks then a T-34 or KV-1 can fight them or if a good pilot is around would bomb them. Unbalanced teams have been a problem for a long time already.
Yeah, but what problem is forbid shoting to tanks if they are in “grey” zone?! It will be more realistic… If you take pilot, he will miss and you end. This game will be more realistic if gaijin forbid to tanks to shot if they are in “grey” zone. It isnt big probmlem, and gameplay will be much better
This is intended to protect the tank against the infantry who, to a man, are capable of Easly killing any tank.
The Best way to kill any tank in the grey zone is with another tank, a Plane and AT Gun or any of the various ATR or AT kit the infantry have at their disposal, that have some reach (PIAT/Bazooka/PF exc…), not the crazy insta death TNT bundle that has no bearing in reality.
Tanks are ridiculously essay to kill with planes, you can even strafe many tanks to death with planes.

cuz every infantry man can kill a tank and the maps are VERY infantry focused forcing tanks with long range guns to sit upwards of 200 meters form the point
not to mention how you get players that their whole game time they spend hunting tanks, what can a tank do since he cant sit at a distance
You have half the toys to destroy it already You don’t have the intelligence to do it If a tank is graze on camping and you build an AT gun in front of it what do you think it’s gonna do.
The smart thing to do in this situation is to build the AT gun in an area where it doesn’t know where it is and push it into a position instead of building in front of it And the reason tanks Gray zone camp is because the team doesn’t cover them every time I push forward in my tank I end up dying immediately
You’re in a campaign which is notorious for its buildings you can just camp on a building with the rifle and break the tank barrel It’s not exactly hard to break it unless the tank knows you’re targeting it even then it’s not too hard to begin with a good shot easily breaks the thing
Are you trying to validate grayzone camping right now? If you die in a tank then just respawn and wait to try again? It’s not a big deal. Your infantry didn’t support you probably because they’re too focused on actually trying to cap the objective unlike you who’s sitting in the back with a tank doing nothing but getting kills. There is no validation for grayzone camping and if you do that shit just because you can’t stand to play infantry, then that’s just sad.
Look, either try to build the AT Gun on a place the tanker can’t see you building it (it will depend on map and positioning of the enemy tanker), take your own tank (I really doubt allied tankers will ignore XP from killing the enemy tank if it is marked), or just take a plane, it takes a bit of practice to aim the bombs properly but once you get used to it it becomes very fucking easy.
As a Soviet main on Moscow let me say that both factions have everything they need to face each other and the difference is on the experience of the players on each side and as a experienced player over there let me say that 90% of the times the enemy tank can be ignored you just have to position yourself properly to not die to it’s HE shelling.
If everything goes wrong then nothing can be done, you got outplayed, the enemy team was better than yours, suck it up and go for the next one, no one is supposed to win every match.
In Stalingrad every German tank can be destroyed by T-70. Dont waste time on building AT guns or using PTRS as PTRS will not pierce Panzer IV from the front.
Generally if a tank is sitting in the Greyzone, hes not much help to the team, just avoid his sight lines.
If somehow its a map where he is actually having an effect, bomb him, or any Soviet tank or AT gun can delete him.
Also AT rifles can from certain angles…but you could always just track them if you dont have a good angle and be annoying. Eventually they will get out.
According to you killing enemy using a tank is equivalent to doing nothing. Vehicle can’t capture objectives, by moving the tank up close, what is there to do other than killing enemy or feed them?
There are more ways to play other than constantly holding down the ‘W’ key or pushing the joystick forward.
Except nobody plays another way, you know why? Because they’d rather camp in the greyzone. Don’t act as if I’m stupid, I know vehicles can’t cap objectives, doesn’t mean they have the right to hog a vehicle slot just to camp in the gray zone the entire game. My statement is directed to those who greyzone camp, not to those who actually push up and you should have been able to interpret that, not my fault you didn’t.
