I know, but they most likely figured it woudnt be much different from moscow in equipment soo they chosse Berlin, as there is much more equipment they can add. Now Stalingrad would be just Moscow and Berlin combined, Berlin gameplay with Moscow weapons.
I still hope Stalingrad will be.After all, Stalingrad was destroyed much more than Berlin. And Stalingrad will rather be a combination of Moscow and Berlin (Villages and urban battles, factories, an airfield, an elevator, and so on).
Stalingrad would be a beautiful setting (reminding of Red Orchestra), but how will people like the need to regrind again all the same weapons?
Donât know. They need to change something. As an option, make the eastern front 1941-1943, where you can choose the Battle of Moscow, Stalingrad, Leningrad, Kursk, Crimea (for example). There will be a general pumping for them, maybe a little different, but if you got a PPSH in Moscow, you can use it in Stalingrad. But online.
i like the idea, but is there enough stuff to warrant a campaign rather than an event?
also the early pacific campaign needs some love too
Yep there is, i will try to do campaigns levels with equipment. I will use Moscow campaign as template and just change equipment.
This battle was rather long and would be quite nice to see more nations and not just Germany again, even if there would be some German equipment on high levels.
in that case i think it would be good as long as the soldiers you get from logistics are mostly from hungary and romania
Most squads would be Hungarian and Romanian. Soo it woudnt be a problem imo. Hungarians even had there one of theyr Armored divisions.
Tbh i woudnt have suggested it if i didnt think there is enough equipment.
75mm? Isnât it 45mm 20k?
Oh right, i hit bad number on keyboard and didnt see my mistake, yes it is 45mm gun.
Respect to the effort and research you did.
I mostly done it from memory, as i passion is smaller axis nations in WW2 and i would like to see more of theyr representation in games, smaller allies ones too.
But now i try to do campaign tree i do some res
earch to find out if there is enough equipment for them for them to be in game. Thats little bit harder then i through tbh, but im getting there.
I have long suggested the idea of presenting sub-factions in the game in the form of individual squads, which would be an additional element of the main factions. And we got it perfectly with the Tunisian campaign (Italy, Britain, Zealand, etc.) which would not require additional dev resources from scratch to create an entire stand-alone campaign that would again require an infinite amount of balance tuning, and the big question is whether it would be popular at all.
In my opinion, the Battle of Turda proposal stands in the same place as others like it. I can almost guarantee that we would see the Pacific campaign much sooner than such separate ones. Because the Romanian, Hungarian military elements can best be presented as sub-factions. Or turn such battles into an event type.
They can be presented in this campaign at least 50/50, im not saying they should do it, or do new campaign right away, i even say it in OP that they should work on current campaigns before adding new ones. This is just a proposal for not much known battle that could have 4 factions in it. And 2 nations that are underpresented in most of games.
And thatâs perfectly fine. I myself suggested the idea of sub-campaigns. It would work similarly to an event, but just to mention the anniversaries of certain battles and the like, major campaigns would have such battles for a limited time, or on a rotating basis. - Because - I have long understood that we will definitely not have such separate battle campaigns in the near future, so it is best to find a compromise. Sub-factions, sub-campaigns, special events, premium squads and so on.
Yeah we will se what will future bring us.
Events could work with number of battles, like Battle of Crete, you would have predefined squads and it could be for a week or something.
Yes. Exactly. I would greatly respect such events.
I had done some theoretical Campaign levels until Level 33, used Moscow as base for it and there is some Soviet and German equipment later, but there is a lot of unique weapons. Sadly planes on high level are German.

Romania can get the Belgian FN Model 24, which would give them a unique bolt action rifle.
