Burma dropout priority

When the “Tigers of Burma” update was introduced, Burma Company maps had drop priority over Pacific Ocean cards, but now it is no longer valid. I suggest that this priority be returned and kept until either new cards are added or the PO maps are completely redesigned

im sick and tired of playing burma already

Why? The Pacific island campaign maps suck ass. Burma has twice the detail and half the sniper sightlines. It’s a lot better than anything we have in the Solomons or New Guinea.

Burma is great but I think I have only gotten Burma maybe 4 times since it came out, and that’s playing 5-10 matches per day on average.

I would say 75% of my matches have been Germany over the past month, followed by Americans and then Soviets. I almost never get Japan cause I think very few people are playing Japan unfortunately, but understandably.

Whenever I get USA its almost always Normandy. At BRIII I get Tunisia maybe 1 out of 50 matches as USA.

I think Burma is a very good map. Pacific Island maps are kinda meh but I think their fine. I want them once in a while otherwise I get burned out on Burma.

bro, at the moment, the maps of the pacific island drop out in 9/10 of cases, im not ready for this.

I like the Burma map.

@Yuri_Enjoyer I didnt think we had any New Guinea maps yet. They are all a specific part of the Solomon Islands which is why in my opinion they suck because its all the same thing.

I want proper jungle fighting in New Guinea.

Malaya and Singapore would be good too. Singapore as a full on city with Japan attacking, Allies defending.

Manila could work either way for 1942 and 1944/45.

I do wish Burma update had more maps though. Its just the one map from different angles which is good… but we want more.

We desperately need maps that are different to the same old same old Japanese generic Pacific Island maps.

We’ve had the same damn Pacific maps as I said from just one small part of the Solomon Islands for the entire Pacific War of Australia, New Zealand, UK and USA for years now.

There are a lot of Japanese maps that should be, and could be in the game.

Whether they’ll be Manchuria, or SIngapore, Guatacanal, Ductch East Indies, or whatever. They’re all long overdue. Either way, 2025 is going to be interesting for the Japanese faction.

Yes I forgot about the Dutch East Indies. Balikpapan when?

Oilfields could be interesting in a map too.

Perhaps a part of a Destruction gamemode where the attackers have to blow up the oil tanks.

Id also like to see in various theatres the addition of aircraft on airfields as mini objectives in the same way that barrage balloons are on the ‘Airfield’ map from Normandy.

Like the attackers get points for destroying Zeros or BF109s or whatever on the airfields.

After all many Pacific battles were about control of an airfield.

They have different advantages
Burma may be friendly to superior forces and sane infantrymen.
But it’s like hell for tanks
Most of the time, tanks can only be driven to the front line to fight
You never know where a madman with explosives or a bazooka might come and kill you.

The Pacific is not that bad in terms of minimum tank survivability and long-range suppression type equipment benefits.

I only do that if I am level three allies and get pacific theatre, cuz the vast majority of the time I get level 5 Japs. I do of course wait to see the level five weapons scrolling on the kill count first and when I see one, I’m out. So, with level three, I only want to play against the Germans cuz I know its a 1/1 battle.

I actually Like Burma, Im sick of all the og Pacific maps to be honest.

I’ll take Burma 10/10 times over standard Pacific maps.

For once I can just start flying with my Zero without 2 hours takeoff from the carrier.

Having actual buildings, corners and roads is also great.

Would love to see another urban mixed with rural Pacific map like Manila maybe.

Shanghai from the 1930-40s would also be incredible but the Allies didn’t really fight there.
