Bullet types

BA would get AP Armor piercing
SA Incendiary
SF/SMG hollow point
AR/MG Tracer
SG Shotguns add slugs to shot

My thoughts on the matter, each weapon should get ammo that strengthens their role. The trouble now is higher BR weapons are just better in every way making low BR weapons obsolete.

Never fired anything more than a 22 or bow in real life but in game tracers would help. If there already in game make them better and give them to a ars and mgs.

Won’t pass for a variety of reasons, except maybe one:

would be useless

would be useless

it was outlawed to use in warfare in 1897, nobody used such in the war

by default in all* guns

only one that may pass, some folks were asking for them, and it has some historical basis

*don’t quote me on that

would do damage over time killing a downed soldier that was too slow to heal

I’m sorry, but bullets this size don’t work like that. It’s incendiary only on already volatile materials, like fuel, it won’t really set on fire cloth or skin. For a projectile to work this way, it would have to be so big, infantry would be pink mist either way.

Trench Guns (shotguns) were not banned in the war.

In WW1 the Germans did complain about the use of shotguns by the Americans, claiming it as “inhumane”.

The Germans were also being rather hypocritical, as they were the first to field flamethrowers and poison gas.

In WW2, the use of shotguns (mostly by Americans) was generally relegated to clearing out bunkers in the Pacific theater.

guess we should remove shotguns from Africa, France, Germany and USSR

easy to knock someone down any idea of your own

I was speaking about Hollow Point ammo, it actually got written into The Hague Conventions, which everyone followed.

I found it they actually modified the rule to allow shotguns or at least changed it
there was also the serrated blade controversy

the first rule was not to cause wounds that could not be sewn up

so hollow points/shotgun buck shot and serrated blades
