well, as I said, 900g of black powder is not equal to 900g TNT

But with 50% TNT and 50%nothingness you would expect to get 450 grams of TNT but having 50% ammonium nitrate raises that total just by 40 grams to 490 grams equivalent as staated in WT?
That is a bit hard to believe.
Still WT does tell you which explosive type was chosen for the shell and there it is given as TNT and TNT only.
