Buff the pavesi m42

The USSR’s tech tree br2 semi auto is basically better than (or at least tied) the M42 pavesi in almost single stat and comes with a bayonet.

The Pavesi’s only advantage is that it has 0.3 more damage and 1 extra bullet

at the very least, reduce the Pavesi’s recoil and buff the reload speed to be competitive with the new BR2 semi auto rifles

Nah Pavesi is fine, its Fedorov 1912 that needs a damage nerf.
How anyone thought that giving 15.3 damage a BR2 TT semi while all other semis are capped at 13.9 is beyond me.

It’s a soviet weapon, that’s why

Well you need 15.3 damage to ignore body armor - obviously something the Soviets need over the other nations.

I’m probably in the wrong here, but straight-pull or lever-action rifles are kinda the meta now. Having a slightly slower RoF, but better accuracy and almost guaranteed one-taps and consistent sight pictures mean the Winchester M1895, Mannlicher M1895, Ross Rifle, SMLE and Lee-Enfield all “function” like better semi autos.

I believe the Fedorov M1912 can set the standard for any true BR 2 semi auto. Buff the 6.5mm rifles up to 14.8 base damage, and increase all of their cyclic rates to 350.

still, 8mm breda rifles should have less recoil to be more on par with soviet low BR semi autos

I really love using Pavesi rifles because of their sleek appearance, but if you ever tried using them they are kinda unwieldly
