The lebel 1886/93 having the rof of 48 is absurd and should be raise up too 58 rpm
During the lead up too ww2 the lebel rifle was still the main arm of the French Army and infact when the gun was in storage leading up too ww2 it was still being regularly maintained till 1937
So when the Volksturm would get their hands on said rifle the rifle would’ve been almost new still infact due to said maintenance that’s why despite the rifle being over a 100 years old they’re still in mostly good conditions
