Buff the FG42 II and AVT-40

The Type Hei Automatic rifle released with the last update turned out to be very OP, to counter this new threat the US faction will receive the T20 rifle, a gun highly requested ever since T20E1 was released as a gold order gun in the battle pass shop.

These stats are misleading, there is no dispersion and the recoil here is fake.
You can access the real stats in Euthymia´s spreadsheet.
Lets compare the T20 to the AVT-40 and FG42 II

The T20E1 is kept as reference since dispersion of the T20 is yet to be added, it will be similar if not the same as the T20E1.
Data copied from Euthymia´s spreadsheet.

Despite popular belief the T20E1 copied the AVT-40 instead of the FG42 II, but with a 20 round magazine the Soviet player base always wanted for AVT.

It’s clear as day that the T20 rifle surpasses both AVT-40 and FG42 II and will be a real adversary to the Type Hei Automatic rifle, there is only one problem, someone forgot that the US not only fights Japan. Germany is going to need a buff to even the odds.
Of course you can´t buff FG42 II without also buffing the AVT-40 since both are comparable in performance.

Buff the FG42 II:
this should be simple: reduce the insanely high recoil, there is no reason for FG42 II to have the highest recoil since it does even less damage than both AVT and T20.
vertical recoil: around 21-19 would be fair
horizontal recoil: 8
Hipfiring: 15.0 like all other SF rifles.
Recoil multiplier: 0.25 like all other SF rifles.
Make the FG42 II start in full-auto and add a bayonet to both FG42 models.

Buff the AVT-40:
Replace the 15 round magazine with the 20 round Bubnov drum which is already in game.

sure just nerf the damage of the FG-1 AVT-36 you know to bring them in line with the M2’s the Americans use or buff the M2 a bigger magazine should do we will be generous and not ask for a higher rate of fire or more damage

you were overpowered at BR5 rifles now its Allies turn, please have the same grace we did

also you still have Assaulters where’s Allies overpowered BR5 assault weapon

I enjoy all factions and own all SF rifles.
I don’t know what turn you want but I want all factions to have weapons comparable in power.

so you have been asking to buff the M2 than which been far outclassed

M2 Carbine is essentially more of an assault rifle than battle rifle like the AVT-40 or FG42.
FG42 II is a slightly less depressing version of the FG42.
AVS-36 is at least a little bit different from AVT since its more accurate but not by much.
Type Hei auto is jack of all trades master of none, perfectly in between AVT and M2 C.

US can still deploy 9 men pseudo-assaulter squads but also have access to the best full power round battle rifle.

I did advocate for actual US ARs btw.

we agree indeed a strange and unfamiliar place, as long as there is balance
and it remains a WW2 game i am up for almost anything
though why is has what looks like a rifle stock and pistol grip is strange

I have an idea.
Since ppl already complain that select fire rifles (like the mentioned FG42 and AVT) make semi auto rifles obsolete, maybe don’t buff them even further? To not make semis even worse? Just an idea.

Man why everyone asking for drum mag when there is normal 20 round mag that was more common than 15 round mag

Select fire is meta until semi-automatic rifles do more damage. Simple as.

Would be more ideal, but drum is already in game with animations.

Do they?
Only FG42 does less damage than G43, SVT and Garand have the same damage as AVT and T20.

I’m talking about borderline bolt action rifle damage.

And when semi-automatic rifles do more damage, they will make bolt action rifles obsolete.
And you can’t really buff bolt action rifles any more.

Bolt Action rifles are already obsolete in BR III-V though

I am talking about semi-automatic rifles in BR III-V

Not on BR I-III. They are quite decent, even 5 round ones, even without rifle grenades.
On low BR semi autos and bolt actions are perfectly fine imo. I don’t wat to destroy this.

The gap between SF and semi-auto rifles would be perfectly fine if we had +1 MM.

problem is that some SF rifles are already OP compared to their counterparts. so they either need to buff other SF rifles or nerf OP rifles. i am fine with either option.

Same.

I understand. What I am saying is that semi-automatic rifles BR III-V should see a damage buff since they are hampered by a limited ROF.

Imo nerfing will do less harm in this case. Powercreep needs to stop at some point.
