There is a perk that increase rof for bolt-actions by 12%. combined with a rifle that has upgraded to 15%+ rof, I thiought it would make my rifles more potent in cqb. But that I was wrong, the perk is useless. Im not being over dramatic, I test fired it inte practice mode ( one soldier with the perk and one with out it). There was no difference between thier rof. Why would a perk cost 12 yellow fists in return for 0 improvements?
Its so dumb how there is one perk that costs 12 fists and it does absolutely nothing, so damn expensive for nothing. btw I used kar98k.
What do you guys think? should the perk be buffed?

do you need more than 27% total? get a semi auto/SF rifle or a smg/mg then…
or you seeking 100% faster bolt action beyond reasonable levels?

In all seriousness, its good the way it is.
I would like the costs on the amount of skill points perhaps reduced so we can run ROF + Reload at the same time. That wouldn’t be too tall an ask IMO.

Mmmh the perk is already a tremendous help…
What you should choose if you want cqb bolt action are carbines versions of the rifles. Those cycle rounds much faster at the cost of a slight firepower decrease (which doesn’t mean anything in cqb)
Or renowned bolt actions such as the lee Enfield mk4. That one has simply no downside.
In Moscow:
Germany - no real carbine here, so go with the VZ. It’s a beast.
Russia - the overlooked m1938 carbine
Normandy:
Allies - lee Enfield mk4, all the way every day
Germany - overlooked Manlicher!
Tunisia:
Allies - again, lee Enfield mk4!
Axis - carcano carbine, the mod.38 one.
Berlin:
Forget bolt actions here. Get an automatic. Seriously.

Honestly not overlooked, as it’s just bad. Sure, it chambers quickly, but the reload is horrendous. The starter german carbine is better than it.
Just use a winchester. I know it’s not a BA, but it’s literally better in every way.
Snipers with perfect perks can do this, I have a few and it’s pretty badass

Ah see my wife is the sniper , so I tend to level the squad and then just park them so I can bring out my BA crew.
I’ll have to talk to her and see if we can get those stats rolled.

bolt actions are already kinda too fast to be believable, but yet still they are kinda trash.
how about we change the faster fire rate perk for a 15% more bolt action dmg perk? would increase one hit kills.
