It does barely any damage to enemy soldiers. I swear it’s less effective then the regular MG nest. It takes multiple hits to kill an enemy with it. It also overheats significantly faster then the heavy MG nest. Now i’m not sure if this is the same for all vehicle machineguns or just that one.
M2 halftrack isn’t in the game so I assume you mean the Soviet lend-lease M3A1 halftrack
All the machine guns on vehicles that are in the game do less damage than the infantry counterparts although I’m not sure if this applies to the motorcycles. This is for balance purposes
In my opinion it’s fine as is. In Enlisted, you’re supposed to park it in a good spot and dismount to go to the objective.
Additionally it is in BR2, and is already significantly better than the tech tree APC since it gives your soldiers very good protection and they could still shoot out
I mean they shouldn’t be used as attack vehicles but that doesn’t mean that they should do significantly worse damage than the MG positions. Like I noticed it really badly on the river crossing. Like they were surviving two to three shots in the body.
The Stuart only has an M1919A4. No M2
They also did not lower the armored curtains for him because of the machine gun, saying that a powerful machine gun would kill infantry and vehicles in droves.
