That gun feels incredible in Easy Red 2 while in Enlisted it feels like it shoots wet nooodles and takes years to reload.
It needs buffs in several key areas: increase dmg massively to be able to 1 hk to the chest even at 70m, lower recoil, while at same time keep same ultra slow reload speed as we have now.
Pavesi of BR3 should also receive same buff as it reloads even slower so maybe even less of a recoil.
personally love the gun play in easy red. Models and reload are pretty good (for what it is).

SLR’s are all nerfed because there is no real-world economy in the game - there is no rarity of weapons, no wear and tear, they never get lost, ther are infinite numbers available for most, etc…
But of course SLR’s use exactly the same cartridges as BA rifles (as do MG’s of course) - without the damage nerf there would be no reason to use BA’s at any BR where you can get a SLR. Except masochism of course - should never discount sheer bloody mindedness.
So back to the G41 - why should it be more powerful than all the other SLR’s??
I really dislike that weapon here in Enlisted. It jumps around and hits everywhere except the target I have in front of me at 10 mts. Only for me to die of a single shot.
Making it one hit kill is ridiculous. It should be one hit to down at most (and it already is in most cases) like all SA rifles.
I’d rather have it’s reload time decreased.
Also imo recoil is completely fine. I run G41 as 2nd standard rifle for my BR3 squads and I have no issues in this regard.

Tbh I’m getting annoyed by this trend of making all guns one hit kill with no recoil and instant reload (heavily generalized).
Brining the damage of the G 41 in line with all of its peers would not make it “the best SLR”, 12.7 is entierly fair. Yes, BAs deal way more damage than SLRs for balance but why is that relevant to the discussion? False equivelancy, compare it to other SLRs with the same or similar cartidges, 12.7 is the standard, and there is no reason for the G41 not to be included.
Speeding up the reload speed would not make it “the best SLR” either. Reloading from a single clip is still superior to reloading from two, the reload time should still be slower, just not as slow as it is now (4.0 instead of 4.8 perhaps, closer to 3.8 of the similarly dual-clip loaded No.4 Mk I, the Pavesi deserves a similar treatment 5.4 is rediciolus). Two more bullets or a slightly faster reload is a playstyle preference, one is not objectively better than the other (and my personal preference lies with speedy single reloads over bigger mag capacity).
These two changes together would still not make it “the best SLR” either.
Recoil does not need to be touched though, it’s basicly the same as the Garand and that is entierly fair and accurate.
And to disuage any doubt, yes the SVT-38 deserves the same treatment to it’s damage, which would be balanced by making it reload from 5-round clips instead of through its magazine as it always should have been.
