Buff fragmentation grenades

Due to the ongoing event and grenade kill mission I’ve come to a spectacular conclusion. Frags sucks so much right now. I don’t know when it happened, but apart from when bots are crammed into a room, the fragments basically just tickle compared to what they used to be. Unless I’m hallucinating. At this point, taking a grenade out of your inventory is just a fruitless waste of time.

idk about you, but I have some good success with grenades, in the open they are good at area denial while you rush for cover, and in CQC, their use is obvious.

Grenades work well for me, but explosive packages rarely hurt infantry.

I mean tbf explosive packs shouldnt have much anti infantry frags, and honestly they shouldnt do as much damage as they do vs tanks.

I love dropping 3 grenades where a group of enemies are. I usually cook the first one and throw 2 more back to back and I usually clear any area for this event I just focused on dropping tnt bombs on tanks to get kills

Yeah thats the best way to use them, especially vs squads in the open, if you throw two the AI cant use their Ugandan Kung Fu to instantly catch and throw away both grenades.

I also think they should be nerfed more, there should be a reason to use grenades (I only use them in historical setups)
just one of them:

they still don’t work well most of the time, but I believe they should be completely ineffective against infantry.

I have a rifleman squad equipped just for these tasks.

you need the grenade throw distance perks and grenade bags…Challenge was done in the first few minutes after lobbing the grenades over the building on the first point…basically a close range mobile mortar

they are still effective.

I guess I’m the only one who equips a large grenade bag and three explosive packs then…

Frags have always worked pretty well for me. Det packs and impact grenades barely kill infantry.

My rifleman I use the large grenade pouch and pack three explosion packs. I also like to chuck them before I charge, wait a couple seconds after I chuck it then start running towards the cap point, it usually stops the enemy from shooting long enough for me to get to a cap point.

Riflemen and engies should absolutely rock a large grenade pack.

Assaulters and MGs should have extra ammo.

Either way, all your grenade slots should have explosives. They work so much better than anything else. Smoke and phosphorus are fine and dandy, but they can’t kill a tank.

Similarly, I also hope that the smoke grenade can be strengthened. The terrible smoke has almost no effect, and even a slight terrain undulation can make it meaningless, because the height of the smoke seems to be only about 2 meters.

I feel like they should lower the time detonation just by a second as a way to not just cook it and get shot or to throw it and not get return to sender by a bot who becomes a MLB pitcher

I pretty much only carry explosion packs. They all go boom, but only an explosion kills a tank.

if you do a lob the timer is perfect. It wont get thrown back

1.reduce cooking time, make all nade 5s to :boom:
2.Should make animeted finger tapping as timer
finger nade

A few of my troops have that - but frag grenades are much better vs infantry than expl packs - they got buffed and nerfed respectively over 2 years ago - so with 3 I always carry 1 frag.

I did the 10 grenade kill thing with mostly expl packs, but with them was only getting 2 kills/game at various BR’s - fortunately 10 isn’t many

I think its explosion range is similar to that of an explosive pack, and its only advantage is the throwing distance. (I have tested them on the training ground, and their lethal distance is basically the width of that road.)

nope…grenades are better for this task (has fragments)…unless you specifically hunt tanks with explosion packs and use the crew kills for task

explosion packs used to be the go to…got nerfed a long time ago
