Breda can’t hit anything with it’s highly inaccurate and too slow firing burst. Dmg is too weak. Visual recoil and horizontal recoil are too high. Reload speed is pretty slow. Recoil direction could also get a buff.
When comparing to overpowered Fedorov Rifle we can see how much it loses in ever single stat outside of vertical recoil which was never the issue for Feddy as you can just use vert perk and pull mouse down.
Obviously it can’t compete vs FG42 II, AVT-40 20 or T-20, it’s a pointless weapon in a current meta, it was always bad but nowadays it’s ultra bad i would rather use post nerfed G43K than this thing at least Kurz has amazing accuracy so you can hit people from so far away.
how big of a difference is the visual recoil to the actual recoil? Also can it one shot body armor with vitality because I dont see why it should do less damage if they’re both rifles unless the bullets are smaller
The Barda has bad damage and rate of fire and the Fedorov is practically uncontrollable. The FG42 2 and AVT40 20 are just better. Both should be buffed.
My idea is to turn the Barda into a three shot rifle without recoil and buff the damage. This way it becomes a unique and usable weapon. We could do the same for the Fedorov, but since the three shot shot seems to be fake, we could put it on auto fire and buff its recoil a bit.(Although I wouldn’t mind keeping its three shot mode and turning it into a recoilless weapon, it would make it unique.)
absolutely, that thing sucks hard. its unplayable on BR5 & on BR4 its straight up worse than those Italian event bredas with 20 round semi auto, at least that gives you more control over the bullets & eventually more kills.
this burst fire breda needs to be downranked to BR3, where it at least can be stronger, useful & fancy with the rare burst mechanic.
bad game design to let players waste expensive gold orders on that thing just to disappoint them hard, especially after all the recent power creep.
There realistically shouldn’t be a meta. In the real world, there is no such thing as meta. Some of the meta weapons in game had better statistics in the real world, sure, but they were super prone to jamming. Or some just completely broke (AVS / AVT) or literally blew apart (Tokyo Arsenal).
Every weapon has a downside and upside, and that should be modelled in games. Literally, the only reason a weapon should be good or substantially better than another is because the person’s skill in using it.
