BT-7 Rear Gun

The BT-7 has a gun at the rear of the turret that was functional and could be used (no idea if it was used by the commander or loader). My idea for how the gun could be used is by using the scroll function in tanks for the commander. Similar to how the gunner could look out viewports, the commander could switch from looking out the front optic to controlling the rear gun. I think it would be an interesting mechanic to add. This mechanic could also be added to the T-28 as well.

all tanks in Enlisted can’t use hull MG’s which is awful

I hope devs fix this like they fixed ghost MG’s on shermans

All of these models were modelled with static, unusable MGs in the hulls/back as War Thunder didn’t need them.

perhaps we could do that the gunner is in control, just like switching for observation points, it will drive the players into the smg sit. usefull when you are retreating and you are relocating. in order to save time and manouvres, you can just switch and kill the germans.

or perhaps, we could make that the AI ( in this chase the commander ) take controll of the weapon when you are at the gunner sit. and be somewhat efficent. of course, they have to miss some shot in order to make it fair for the infantry. as a moving aimbot machine is no fun for anyone.

but we’ll have to see.
cheers ^^

Yes, WT dont need them. But this is Enlisted game.

For BT7’s it’s can be tolerated.
But for T28, as a mark, WT’s style lack of controlling hull MGs and no AI for assisting using hull MGs (and other non primary weapons) is going to show this game’s vehicle system limitation.

I am explaining that it would require the model to be remade, as they are not rigged to move.

the same mechanic could also be used for hull mounted machine guns
