BT-43 Finnish APC

th

A Russian BT tank converted into an APC by Finland during ww2. Would be awesome to see it in the game at some point, maybe as part of a Finland update.

I love the disrespect it brings with it.

MG42 wants to know your location.

I would advise you to cover up this bent cross. Otherwise, the topic may be deleted.

I thought about how interesting it would be to have a Finnish campaign in the game, as I don’t really know any WWII game that covers the Russo-Finnish war at all (unique opportunity for the game, I reckon).

This could probably go with the update (obviously as German, as no one’s in favour of a miniature Germany as a separate faction).

nah its fine, we are having a convo about history after all, its like using swastika in a history book.

Finnish equipment would be more similar to russians. Kp 31 is kinda like ppsh, and m28 rifle is mosin. Finnish troops also used tons of captured stuff like svt 40s and dp 27s nicknamed emma konekivääri. Most of finnish tanks were also from soviets. We did have some german guns like panzerfausts and stugs but most of the stuff we had was soviet.

Sorry about that.

My knowledge is limited when it comes to Finnish equipment (I just thought the Finns relied on Germany for supplying the equipment, as well as capturing some Soviet equipment, which you can just do in game).

But thank you for informing me.

We did get german stuff but that was mostly during the continuation war. Finland bought some panzer 4 js from germany but ironically they were used against their creators during the lapland war. Some finnish soldiers that we called jääkäri got training from germany

well, you arent wrong.
Finland did have some domestic arms industry but it was far from enough to fight a world war so they had to rely on equipment captured and lend-leased by Axis.

some guns from Sweden and maybe Switzerland too (that might just be from Axis though)

I was banned for mentioning that yesterday was good man birthday. And he is not banned by anyone, and he is still indirectly the creator of the game’s setting.
The swastika is banned in many countries, and they have already shown a hundred times that they are afraid of it.

So it’s not my whim to “Remove the swastika, you Devil’s spawn!”. It’s just a warning. Although the moderators seem to be more adequate in the English part of the forum.

I did look into Russian forum a few times with translator, things seem very different there.

I would say slight different.
