During the development of battles, the accumulation of artillery and its spam cause stress and displeasure to the game.
The mobility of the characters are not entirely fluid when being in closed environments. The abuse of artillery is too much for the gameplay, leaving the possibility of a clean and direct confrontation ignored, because this abuse of artillery of 30 seconds between shots makes it unplayable, you cannot explore the map with pleasure and fun at the moment to carry out group attacks. The abuse of some mechanics make the game tired and annoying. It should work in the time of the call to artillery with a longer period.
Too much vehicle spam, where they cannot be destroyed as effectively at low levels. The nerve to pay to move faster and get heavy-duty weapons like tank hunters is ridiculous, absurd, nefarious, and even seems like a joke in bad taste. Paying to avoid stress in the game for not being able to defend yourself is something extremely ridiculous. I understand that the game is free, but the impudence of having such a disadvantage, as well as the abuse of mechanics by users with bad intentions to cause players bad experiences is very worrying. I have been playing their games for 8 years, but they had not passed the limit of cheekiness in the method of payments to advance in the game. Mechanics of abuse and physical problems in 3D characters when entering buildings.
I understand that they must earn money to maintain the game, but with the nerve of these payments to obtain advantages it becomes extremely ridiculous matching competitions like Battlefield, simulating the nerve of microtransactions to obtain advantages over the player.

Do not be worse than the competitions, try to be the example.
The continuous stunning of artillery and its abuse does not allow the player to defend or attack with more “fun”, the point is to have fun.
The SPAM of this mechanism can cause stress, it is where we suppose that we are in a game that no longer generates fun, only stress and annoyance due to the abuse of this mechanism.
We don’t need a therapist. We need Gaijin to do things the right way, without being abusive like competitions. Most video game companies are at a point of being absurd in their ideals of ridiculous and abusive payments, as well as IGNORING the requests of their fans and players. Gaijin needs to do things right and stop being a jerk just because there are people with money who think that will make them better.
In my 3 continuous days of play I don’t need high-level weapons to take 100 kills per game. The ability exists, the balance of the games does NOT. If we add a bit of SPAM to this, it becomes stressful not being able to enjoy the game in every way. Please, let’s be honest, Gaijin is a jerk because money is the only thing that matters to them like most competitions nowadays. Ellectronic arts, Ubisoft, Wargaming etc. Junk games, junk content, mediocre balance and non-existent measures to be a “good game.”
Why are people constantly complaining about arty when mortars exist. Literally the most BS thing when you have to deal with some guy sitting in the back of the map FOR THE ENTIRE GAME getting free kills by dropping mortars on a point nonstop.
An additional issue is that you can sit with a 2-inch mortar beside an ammo box and fire continuously until the ammo box is empty; then you put down a new ammo box, and repeat. I’ve seen guys literally go entire matches, racking nearly 200 kills, by spamming the 2-inch mortar. Sure, artillery fire is supposed to be devastating, but not never-ending. I propose raising the time limit on radio men to 1 minute, and locking 2-inch mortars out of ammo crates, so they can’t resupply. And, I say this as someone who thoroughly enjoys employing indirect fire weapons!
artillery is easy to avoid. it builds up and the min map shows you were it has bene called. it si very easy to avoid it if you don’t run in straight lines to the objective. If you are “exploring” there is very little chance you will encounter bombs or arty. the arty and bombs are fine and dont need nerfing. having arty continuously going off is a huge part of the atmosphere. otherwise it would all be hip firing MGs
nope. this ha been changed according tot he patch notes. if ammo boxes are destroyed you only get back the unused ammo in them. this was a huge nerf to mortars
a good way to fix that is to remove the ability to buy exp for the campaign progression, and keep the ability to buy stuff in the logistics atleast that way they could still earn their money and since also not ALL would want to grind a long time to get their stuff and not ALL are good enough to keep getting all those bronze orders , in the arty and mortars have the arty cd to maybe around a minute and mortars can only be able to rearm only once since you get two mortar crew anyways atleast that way they can support but will give a breathing room for the other side
The issue is the 30 second cooldown, and it’s umplayable when 2/3 ennemies can spam artillerie fire. On invasion i had game wheres staying on point, ment having my screen shaking all the time. Fun was 10/10, not being able to aim properly whith the ringing and the explosion broke the game. And if the point doesn’t fall , it’s easy use planes.
Arti need a longer cooldown, and like for vehicules, to have a limited number of squads at the same time.
Having premium advantages, and especialy reserve size and spam of vehicules is already a nightmare, Gadjin get your s*** together, the game is not even out, and your greed is killing, no way a casual player will stick to a constant beating
If the game is causing you too much stress then I suggest you play something else. Why be stressed out by a game? Take a vacation, life is too short …
The arty and all this bangs that goes on is the part of the atmosphere of the game, some nerf maybe needs to be done, but still. If its too stressfull for you i would take a pauses on your place
Ah yes get personal, I never pretended to be pro I merely cited my xp gain, which is easy enough to gain if you play decent. If I were to get 20k without premium as avg we can talk about being “pro”.
Furthermore my highest level squads are Assault infantry(Maxed at lvl47), Light Tanks(Maxed at lvl35 ) and then reguar Infantry(Maxed at lvl24), neither of them have any radio man to call arty(the one with 4minute cooldown) at all.
My Radio-Troop is level-wise only better than my Bomber and Fighter planes. I have yet to unlock the mortar troop. So me only earning any points via arty can hardly be the case.
To get back on topic: I already stated in my first post that increasing the reload time or limiting otherwise makes the Radio-Troop (and the mortar) pointless. Arty does exactly what is supposed to right now, limit enemy movement and support infantry in either defending or assaulting. If you break this current balance by doubling the radio-troop cooldown you will have those troops pointlessly standing around waiting for their cooldown 40secs for every minute as they can not do shit compared to other infantry due to their small number and lack of weapons.
they can really do anything else beside standing around, like go to obj? and also they are not really a loss if they can’t “do” their job, since thats not the only one that can support. if you really want to have it closer to “realism” remember that radiomen are also on the frontline they are not just standing there doing nothing
Yeah, radio troops are already under-performing in a way. Sure it looks all spectacular and loud when you have couple of radio squads calling arty, but those guy are only supporting the team, their own campaign progression is hampered.
forgot to add, one of the problem here is pretty much the whole team if all of them have or all of them wants it, they can pretty much go pick the arty squad and level up the whole obj, I do agree on having it a longer cooldown because even if you have 3-5 radiomen it will just be a swarm of arty circles around the map so maybe if they can’t do cooldown just limit the amount of arty and mortar, like the tanks and mortar have
Artillery still does the job its supposed to even if the cooldown is longer. You simply cant spam it anymore. Rather you need to use it more wisely not just spam around.
How did you phrase it earlier ? “If you aint completely useless” or something, Id suggest you to use your own suggestion while playing with the radio troop.
The point is that any other infantry squad would be more usefull if you nerf the arty to the point where you can not keep it going as a constant barrage. Sure you can go to the cap with your 3-5 man bolt-action rifle squad loose half of em on the way and maybe get another barrage off before you die to some enemy rushing you with smg. But than you can abolish the whole Radio squad from your lineup and put another infantry squad in that has more members and a wider selections of weapons to choose from.
The crux of it is that if you nerf arty enough that people like Tusuplisi stop complaining about “arty spam” would render the squad to be to inefficient when compared with any other infantry squad.
Regarding being hit by arty in closed doors. The only place you can be hit by arty in a non-destructible house is at the windows/doors. Though i noticed that there are some clipping issues which might cause dmg to you if you are glued to a wall while it is being hit by tank shells or arty.
Even in an open field you can be hit at least 2-3 times before dying from called in arty fire at full health.
That does not account for any bandaging you do while being hit or hits further off that only take 1/10th of your health. If you are only running around with >25% health than there is a good chance of dying if you do not have any cover during a barrage, but even then you normally have enough time to run out of the circle if you pay attention to the minimap
they can kill even at full health, I mean if only like 1 or 2 squads in a match I can agree on you but like I was saying earlier there will be a lot of them in a match not just a single squad, that’s the reason why people are now starting to complain about it
Why would I use the Radio-Squad to rush points or engage enemies with it that are better equiped have advantage in numbers over me? Those tasks are for other Infantry-Squads.
As it is right now the Radio-Troop is a second line infantry sqaud that spams arty in support of the advancing ground forces or to deter enemy advances by blocking some of the possible advance routes. Even at max level the Radio-Troop from the moscow campaign only has at most 5 Soldier in it. 3-4 of which limited to bolt action rifles. Any other squad apart from the anti-tank squad has more merit when it comes to typical inffantry tasks.
