Brutal Spam and Pay to Fast (trash)

They can only kill you at full health if you keep standing in the barrage and are unlucky with the hits. I tried to die to artillery mutliple times by running into the barrage on open fields or not moving away and most of the time i survived them. I was beat up and possibly had to pick myself up again or lost some of the ai squad but at least in the moscow campaign it is impossible to constantly die to arty if you just avoid the circles or run out of them once they appear on the minimap.

If there is a lot of Radio-Troops/Mortar-Teams then they will lack either Vehicles or regular infantry allowing you to overwhelm them with your infantry. Assuming two teams are similar in skill/equipment the team that better utilizes the different Squad types in accordance to the map/objective wins.
Most landslide victories i have witnessed so far were because one team would not properly utilize the different roles the game provides(i.e. no fiorward spawnpoints, tanks rushing in on their own without infantry support, planes trying to get easy kills instead of dealing with enemy planes, infantry blindly rushing the point and being mowed down in hordes etc.)

Fine, lets pretend the artillery cannot kill you and as you said you can just walk past them.
Then comes the suppression
even tho you would survive with full HP ( Pretending artillery doesnt do damage as you claim )
Which means you cant see shit, you cant hit shit. Now that 1 artillery hardly is enough to break the balance even when you add all the other spam to it tanks, grenades, mortars & planes.
The problem is that radio squad aint limited like tank squads are if enemy has 3 radio squads it means certain area will have artillery barrage constantly with 5 seconds window to move. That effectively makes it impossible to capture certain outdoor cap points.

I never claimed it does not do dmg I merely claimed it is easy to avoid and that even if you find yourself in a barrage you mostly survive. The only problemeatic aspect if you are hit is the headshaking and the possibility of enemy infantry closing in while you are still under the effect of head shaking.

Even if you limit the number of radio squads to 2 per team. You will still have 4 arty barrages on the point as artillery is indeiscriminate. Most of the time it is both teams pointing at the same spots were they think the most troops are. In invasions/assault you always have “arty-proof” rooms/buildings on the spot and in conquest you can simply go for the other point.
In Conquest there is no map where you can not go for C instead of A, if the enemy keeps you from closing in to A with arty barrage/camping. Depending on how the enemy team plays they have to let up on A to defend c or find themself cutoff around A with enemies swarming them from both sides netting you A in the process even if you have to give up C. The same goes for B. if they keep barraging B you can likely overrun A and C while they focus their attention on B.

Yet again one wall of text where you pretend the artillery is only weapon of the game.

I emphasized multiple times that it is not the only weapon in game and even pointed out that arty itself is only a support entity for infantry. You can for that matter replace arty with planes or tanks as well and get the same conclusion.
The ones doing the job on any map are the front line infantry (i.e assault squads and bolt-action regular infantry squads), they make up the backbone of any force in this game. Other infantry(Engineers, Radio-Troops, Snipers, MG-Gunners, Anti-Tank Squads) only exist to support those in some capacity.

You can actually kill a tank, tank has to be in such spot it actually sees enemy, unlike radio. Tanks are limited.
Planes cant exactly stay still, so its rather hard to block anything with them. Regardless they have powerfull bombs, planes at most are annoying not game breaking.

Then theres the radio guy. No limitation, 30s cooldown, can hide anywhere no need to actually see enemy in anyway.
They aint exactly comparable to tanks or planes which actually has to see enemy and are heavily limited.

Well. You need to aim with mortars. Arty is just open map+ click.

Mortars and radio squads are generally okay with 3cp maps. On a 1cp map theyre horrible.

Unless the point is open.
