Wagner group sucks…
But Richard Wagner is absolutely great, if you like classical music even a lil bit.
So just “Wagner” isn’t necessary meaning a group of civilian murdering turds.
Interesting parenthesis: wagner group is to a certain invading country, what the ss were to a certain other invading country…

Pretty much, it’s why I said it doesnt necessarily mean that ss like, civilian murdering, war crime commiting group. Could be just like the famous composer, or just… a name

depends, there were those who supported industry, the army, the merchant marine, the arts…they supported the hitler government for mostly business reasons, and then there were the ideological nazis…

Well to be fair, many German ppl were at the time. But they only knew half,or even less of what the nazi party stood for: they were only fed propaganda. To them, knowing the situation at the time, they were the good guys. Until they got conquered and all the truth got out…
Then most of them felt sickened by it.
It happens constantly, even today. There’s those thinking invading a neighbor country and sending pmc to murder civilians is righteous, for example… like those who idolize the wagner murder group…

Sadly, those who do not have the financial means to leave the land lose a certain freedom of choice…
Many Germans at the time could only blindly believe in the Nazis.

Richard Wagner died in 1883, so how the hell could he support the NSDAP? Please check your timeline as it has some issues.
