I don’t use those much here maybe due to the terrain and because those campaigns have much more potent weapons… But I think I should give it another chance. I haven’t used it much after it got patched, and being an engineer weapon, it’s much more interesting nowadays.
Ppl say they got bad IS but, really, those are exactly like irl! Easy to head shot with those. (God… I shoot ppl in the face with shotties… that’s so bad!)
(On another note, had a lot of fun 2 days ago hunting big German game with the Soviet hunting shotgun really thrilling to use, with only 2 shots. Gotta do the same with the Drilling soon.)
I admit i took me some practice getting used to. It works differently than in other videos games. It works like real life:
You got to take tour time and aim with them, just like when you go hunt small game. Not like a road sweaper in those zombies or CoD kiddie games.
But they’re fun, there’s no doubt.
I got a quirk where I try to get comfortable with any and all weapons games generally offer, so that if I pick one of the ground (I lack ammo often), I’ll be competent with it.
My last challenge is trying to get very good with revolvers (Can tell you it’s good head shot practice)
I love to try funny things, even if I’m not effective doing it. It’s fun.
Also, using mp40/i is making us men of culture. God, I love that specific weapon since RO2!
I am not really a expert on WWII shotguns. I don’t know which shotgun could be considered as classic high BR material (if any).
Im current meta, shotguns are still mediocre at best anyway and mostly still just very gimmicky. (In my opinion)
The only reason why Browning Auto 5 at Pacific is good pick, is because all other progression allied assault weapons there pretty much sucks (BARs, Johnson’s LMGs, M2 carbines aren’t assault weapons while being way superior to any allied progression assault weapon there) + small bonus that you can take it with engineer.
