The Sten Mk V was the ultimate evolution of the Sten gun from a cheap crude looking piece of scrap mass produced in Britain’s desperate times to a pristine submachine gun. It was first used by British Paratroopers during Operation Overlord. I think it would be great addition to this game as for a British Paratrooper squad, event or Premium.
This should be a TT weapon imo
This should be a TT item and be an introduction to a TT para squad as well as the introduction of BRITISH soldiers and national soldiers. I.E British/UK, Romanian/Hungarian, Italian, Bulgarian/Ukrainian, Chinese/ Philippines.
I know that’s a bit of a divergence of the OP but I still wish to see the MkV stem added.
I believe the Sten MKIII should also be addd to the TT and changed from a gold item to TT.
I think TT should basically be standard issue and common gear while event, Premium, gold should be rare/ special/ unique
In my pipe dream I’d probably dramatically overhaul the organization of every item, like how the MOST COMMON Stug variant is a premium or the Federov is WW1 vintage. There are many things all over the place. Maybe one day……
I even think they should add back in the Paratrooper Reising and Type 100 for a Paratrooper squad instead of MEDIC
I disagree in that I think it’s better as a special unique item
But I do agree in general that we should have Paratroopers in the Research for all factions that we can customize like the Soviet squads
We should also get the sterling. It wasn’t used that much in WW2, but it was tested. Also there was a sten gun with a bayonet lug, I forgot which one it was, but that should also be added into the game.

Maybe maybe DF will finally have a chance of completing their promise of TT paratroopers (IIRC)
It should be a TT weapon, to much Thompson from BR 3, and the TT has just 3 commonwealth smg
Next US/British paras should be in similar concept to Soviet ones. Meaning, no premium/event weapon binded to them. Instead, you can equip them with any TT or GO weapon.
Paratrooper should be in the TT, but with 4 man instead of six and and just 2/3 lodout instead of 4, for don’t overshadow premium and event one
(Practically the same treatment of TT APC)
I mean yes coincidentally I did see that episode today, but the Sten Mk V has been on my list for a long time
Yes there should be tech tree Paratroopers BUT I still think there should be event/ Premium Paratrooper squads
Otherwise we might as well use this argument with every other special squad and say we shouldn’t have them and just add all their weapons into the TT
I feel events/ premium should be unique content, and the Sten Mk V was the ultimate Sten used by Paratroopers
