Some of the main arguments against having a separate faction were:
- limited playerbase
- lack of weapons
- lack of profit for enlisted
- difficulty transferring items from Allied tech tree to British
However, Enlisted is doing better than ever in terms of playerbase. Additionally, join any team is more incentivized so wait times for a game are about 1-5 seconds.
There is also no lack of weapons if you include the whole of the British Commonwealth, and Free French forces as well. Even if the French werenât included in the British tech tree, they would still have enough weapons for all BRs, with excess weapons to use as premium squads. This means a British faction would be easy to monetize in the long run. In fact, much easier than Japan.
In addition, I tried to limit the amount of US premium weapons I put in the tech tree with the exception of the P14 (T) to avoid controversy between people losing their favorite premium squad. Although, I did get premium weapons from USSR. I justify this because a lot of factions have premium weapons that are in another factionsâ tech tree.
I would like to hear your opinions.
Moving on, here is my proposed tech tree. Although I skipped planes, because I donât know how to rate their BR unless I try it in-game.
Key:
- Asterix = New weapon
- Red = Note*
- Yellow triangle = foldered
Tier I
- M1917 Enfield - BR2 but I think it should be BR1
- Enfield P14 (T) - Already a premium squad, but I couldnât find a low BR sniper, although a M1917 Enfield Sniper could work. I just settled with the P14 though.
Tier II
- Might have to move the SMLE Mk3 (T) to BR3
Tier III
- I decided to put the Bazooka because I couldnât find anything else, but Canada used them from what I found. Additionally the British got some from Lend-Leasing.
- MAS-44 and Schilt Flamethrower would be a new weapon, I forgot the asterix
Tier IV
Tier V
- Rieder automatic rifle would be a new weapon, I just forgot to put the asterix in the graphic
As I stated earlier, the British faction would be easy to monetize.

Other benefits to adding the British:
- Allows Enlisted to have more premium squads in rotation and monetize more
- Fixes historical inaccuracies
- More diversity: Canada, ANZAC, and France, South Africa plays a bigger role in Enlisted
- Less bored from playing the same four factions
- Allows Enlisted to add more fronts like Operation Market Garden, or their own pacific campaign separate from the US
- More emphasis on British and they get more customization
- There are a lot more smaller benefits, but they are relatively negligible so I wonât list them.
What about the Americans?
If the British LMGs were removed, then America would have no BR2 LMGs. I propose a new BAR. The M1922 BAR, with -50% sprint penalty, since it is heavier than the other BARs. This will fit in BR2. Or you could just take the M1918 and nerf it into BR2.
And for all the British weapons being âremovedâ from the US tech tree, just remove them from being purchased like how you did with the MP 717 (r)s and Breda Mod 30s.
Also, for battles where both Americans + British fought, just put the Americans, and British all in the same matchmaking against whoever they are fighting against.
