British Customization Options - Mega Suggestion

@OggeKing, I have something to add to your post about British customization, If you don’t mind.

These are Shanghai police patrol units of mixed composition (Chinese and British)
for the protection of foreign concessions and representative offices. And as you can see, they are wearing some kind of body armor.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any data on the bullet resistance of these body armor or what they are made of. But let’s assume they have a standard resistance of minus 10% damage.

Very interesting, just spent some time looking these up! These sets are sometimes reffered to as “Shanghai Municipal Police (SMP) bulletproof vest”, and came out in the 1920s to combat rising guncrime in Shanghai (many police were dying in shootouts). They actualy were meant to counter pistol fire, so they were somewhat bullet resistant in this regard (so, roughly equal to already present Soviet armour). However, as cool as they may be, I don’t think they should be added to the game.

First understand that my position on body armour goes against arguing for more cosmetic options with damage reduction modifiers, when I am a fervent supporter of removing all effects of cosmetics (cosmetics should have no impact on gameplay).

Secondly, as per my third principle (shown above) these should not be added because they’re civilian items that were only used by civilians and only produced in Shanghai, a location nowhere near any current fronts in the game, and I doubt any were transported out of there during the Japanese occupation.
