Having 3 bars in br 3 is waste of content. Nobody loves m1918 they love m1918a2 since it is direct upgrade in everything. If m1918 gets nerfed to fit br 2 it will finally become useful. Some people dislike bren due to the mag blocking your view or because it looks wierd in american squads. M1918 in br 2 could make these people happy
MP41r is OP because it has PPSH rate of fire but higher damage and kills(downs) in 2 shots instead of 3.
Well, lets say its OP against US players - body armor of course prevents a two hit kill.

I think its dumb that Soviets get so many potential low BR MGs wasted as high BR assault/select fire rifles.
Soviets still need more variety on their TT.

The WW1 M1918 was the better version tho, many GIs ditched their WW2 versions as soon as they could get hands on the WW1 version because the first BARs were significantly less heavy.
Weight was a massive issue with the BAR, which is why collectors have it difficult to get original bipods fitting with original BARs - most GIs threw them away to remove excessive weight.
WW1 BAR simply was supposed to be a shoulder fired rifle (hence the name Browning automatic rifle), while for WW2 the US military gave it a heavier barrel to fit the light machine gun role.
Im talking about ingame stats. M1918a1 and a2 are better than ww1 bar in everything. There is no reason to use it currently but in br 2 it could shine

BAR in BR2 is ridiculously overpowered
Nerfing it to fit in that BR makes it not what the BAR is

Very similar to bren except it has better dispersion while moving. Also ha purists still wont use it since it was only used by india. Nerfing the bar with a bit more movement penalty/ reload speed would be easy to do and it would give this gun a purpose other than being a stepping stone. Br 3 players still have 2 bars to play with. It is win win. Br 3 could also get lewis gun so both brs have british and american guns
What do you mean by this? You think it is good to have 3 very similar guns in same br while only one of them is actually worth using?
Are you sure about that? With body armor German smg with 6.8 dmg require 3 hits to kill.
Not only dmg is subpar but also recoil (M1918) or rof (mp40, berretta M38/42). I see no point in playing as underpowered Germany with the exception of spamming HEAT with my tanks.
Germany is the weakest faction at BR2 and no matter what you will say not going to change that objective fact.

Thereâs a difference between saying âI donât think Germany is underpoweredâ and âGermany is underpowered, but hereâs what you are currently in control ofâ.
Body armor does turn the 9mm SMGs from a 2-tap to a 3-tap. This should either not exist, or Germany and USSR SMGs should find parity. I think thatâs something everyone can agree on.

tiny mag, god fk awful magazine blocking entire screen with fairly bad visual recoil and top of that worst dispersion of all ge smgâs ( Nvm obrez has worst ) so its 2nd worst.

The M1A1 had no place going to BR II. The Lanchester and M3A1 Grease Gun were more than enough. Instead, it shouldâve gotten lessened recoil and better accuracy to distinguish it from itâs BR III / IV brethren.
Maybe some people prefer the sights of the Bren more. Canât use a weapon when you canât aim with it.

Top loading SMGs are pretty mid if I gotta be honest with you. The magazine and iron sights obscure a lot of your screen visuals
