The Germans experimented with suppressors for their own weapons, including the Kar98k, G43, and K43 rifles, and also copied suppressor designs from other countries like the Soviet Mosin-Nagan
only thing i would suggestion make a g43 variant with supressor from kar98 and stg it was same thing

Even if I was ever to consider suppressed weapons in the tech tree,
I would not accept anything other than the Mk II (S) for the allies, if we are going to put any suppressed weapon in there it deserves to be this one, otherwise it would be the same as giving the Soviets 1891/30 Mosin as a Event weapon but putting a Arisaka rifle in the tech tree. Most common and widely used suppressed design of the war (period) vs a failed prototype of a failed prototype? No.
That is, again, only in the scenario in which I’d be considering tech tree suppressed weapons, which I’ll never do.
Suppressed weapons are interesting, cool and rare weapons, because they were interesting, cool and rare in history, but they’ll only remain so as long as they’re not passed out like butter. Then they’d be mundane, boring and common. It’s not WW2 combat if everyone is running around with weapons that go “click click click” rather than “bang bang bang”, if you want that there are other games more modern in its setting out there for you that’ll do that.

for TT suppressed smgs should only be br5 while event/premium squads can be any BR
I see a really good set of event rewards right now. Suppressed weapons ruin the consistency and authentic feel of the game and should remain as BP, event, and premiums as they have been since they were first added.

You know, I have a couple suppressed smg’s, the Suppressed Grease gun and the Suppressed Erma, and to be honest, neither is an advantage. The guns sound weak, and IMOP the drop in hitting power negates any advantage of using them, and to be honest, if I could take the suppressor off like I can a scope, every one of them would have it removed. However, I really don’t care, DF can add suppressors to any smg in the game, and hopefully all my opponents will use them as that just helps me with their less damage.
