If you cast your mind back to the days of silver weapon orders and campaigns you may remember that before you purchased a rifle this screen would appear:
On the left you can see that you can preview each upgrade level of the rifle, this allows players to see what the stats of a particularly weapon would be upgraded without having to spend silver to find out or consult other resources.
