What the best LMG breda mod or MG34?

Why is this a discussion ? The choice is obvious.

MG 34
It has a 50-round magazine and low recoil with a high fire rate. While it only has one spare mag, large ammo bags give you 200 total rounds, and an engineer with an ammo box allows you to fire endlessly. It’s best used from a mounted position behind cover, or hip-firing in CQC. At long range it struggles due to its dispersion(which I think is a bullshit mechanic that should be removed/replaced). But the mass of bullets can usually make up for that.

It has low recoil but high spread. It seems so hard to control because despite having low recoil per bullet, it fires very rapidly.

Ok about the MG42 (i know that the MG42 squad unlocks at level25 ) its worth using? or i should stick to MG34 after i unlock it

Well, the MG42 I haven’t used much, but I think the MG34 is all you need. Use whichever one you like.

I have two machine-gun squads in Tunisia, one is equipped with the MG 34, The other with the ZBvz 26, there are three machine guns in each group and one engineer, and one Breda in each, I did this just because I like it.

All of the guns are totally maxed out.

If I fire very short bursts I can basically snipe with all of them, but the MG 34 fire so fast that you have to be really careful when you pull the trigger, I can make all three of them work for me, but I think they intentionally made the Breda suck but if you tweak it out it’s not so bad, The most annoying part with the Breda is that they didn’t really model the bipod.

Something to bear in mind is that if you get one of your machine gunners killed you can always go over to his body and pick up the machine gun with your engineer so you don’t actually lose the gun…

MG42 feels more powerfull but in terms of stats it’s worse than MG34 in every way.

The only reason you may want to use it is because it’s iconic. But it is castrated as its rate of fire is lower than it should be so IMO there is not much left from it’s legend.

every soldier can pick any weapon from the ground but they can’t resuply it (unless I forgot about some update)

You can refill dropped allied weapons with allied ammo boxes and dropped enemy weapons with their own boxes
