Breda 88 or Mosquito?

Hey guys, id like to know some info who has experience with these in battle or some owners of these , whether if breda performes in battles well, if its okay and how durable mosquito actually is (since it was made mostly from wood) , im considering these once other discounts hits cause current prices are mockery to playerbase

Ive wanted breda very much back in a day, never seen this plane before , never knew italians had such beautiful aircraft, also its skin is just great, just like italian plane should look like , but initially i was angry that it isnt in campaign for free until some mechanics were added and ive spent some time with it in practice mode lately and now im considering also british squad

From what ive observed, Breda is quite slow for a twin engined aircraft, got a suspicion it might take way more dmg than mosquito ? Breda just cant hit 400 km/h on a straight flight and when on 100% throttle, it overheats quite quickly, something that mosquito dont need to worry about, I was always thinkin that mosquito is overpowered, even when one engine is down you can do something , that seems not to be the case for breda … … also Breda has 12.7 safat, while mosquito has also 20mm hispanos…

bomb loadout doesnt look bad on neither of the two

climb rate is definitely mosquitos partypiece than bredas, turninc circle seems to be good on both

so what yo think ?

Still a joke compared to war thunder one both plane as all plane dont even reach wath they stats say

yeah 600 km/h in my a**e

but id like to see what would happen beyond those 600… maybe plane should break in air

depends if the wood in aircraft was also buffed with wood armor buff :rofl:

I’ve faced the moskito before. If you’re caught in it’s bullet hail, you melt. It’s really just a big bunch of canons with wings. Can be used to strafe… However… We have the Beaufighter. And now the A20. Both are canons with wings. Might be difficult to control compared to moskito, but… lots of rockets.

So yeah. Fun maybe, but late game planes are better.

As for the Breda, never seen it. Looks quite underwhelming armament wise and really meh handling.

I have both.

Breda is fun two bomb drops, one with two 100 kg the other one 100kg.

The 3 x 12.7’s are effective against planes, it handles better than I expected, killed a lot of of Beaufighters with it. Anything with a single engine you need to zoom and boom, avoid turn fighting with them, can kill an SBD pretty fast.

Tail gunner Failey effective, if you maneuver for him.

Although now with the Buffed Huracan’s and the 12 x 303’s they F you up pretty fast now that there buffed beyond reason.

It’s a cool looking plane.

Mossy, Sight is annoying as fuck.

No tail gunner, your dead meat in hurry if a single engine fighter gets behind you.

Better bombload, but only single drop.

Guns Deadly, but can be hard to hit with as its not that maneuverable of a plane.

SBD is easier to get bombs on target with (so is Ba 88) imo.

I don’t regret buying it, I have used it a lot, but it’s not a wonder weapon.

Nore is the Ba 88, I bought them both because they looked fun, and they are.

Bf 110 C-6, Handels like the other 110 in Tunisia more or less, 30 mm is underwhelming, can F up tanks but its a real challenge to do so with it, far less effective than any other 30 mm in game against tanks, despite being irl WAY more effective against tanks than any other 30 mm in game, go figure.

Frankly it was something of a disappointment, largely because of the gun, it just fires the stealth AP afik .

Yeah what happened with it? It’s the starter lvl fighter plane and it seems to outmaneuver everything axis have, even the very last absolutely exellent axis fighter… it has no flaw exept lack of bombs…

When did they buff it exactly? Got surprised more than once with it…

idk exactly, i have not been playing Tunisa much lately, but when I do I am shocked by how lethal it is, shreds my 110 and Ba 88 really fast, used to be tail gunners could ward them off most of the time if I maneuvered for them, but not anymore.

Probably would of been better if they just kept the War Thunder values for all the planes to be honest.

Pretty much. Now the starter allies fighter in Tunisia is just as good as axis last unlock one :laughing:

It’s a tad weird. I wonder if I max star the fiat if it will outmaneuver not max star hurricanes. Gotta try.
