This is just a chat, so don’t take it seriously.
I was wondering if in the future, if BR6 is implemented, if the game will go into the Cold War, but for the life of me I can’t imagine the game including the Cold War era.
First of all, there is a big problem: there is no war in which Japan or Germany can participate since WWII.
And to depict the Cold War period, you would need new faction such as Korea, China, Vietnam, etc., but they are countries that have changed drastically between WW2 and post WW2.
China is divided into factions of the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese Nationalist Party, they may have cooperated when they were fighting the Empire of Japan, but after WW2 they are in a civil war and the Nationalist Party is withdrawing from mainland China.
If Enlisted encompasses the WW2 and Cold War timelines, how to represent China Faction in the game becomes a difficult challenge.
In the case of a unified “China Faction,” they will fight the Japanese from BR1-5, but from BR6 onward, they will be playing the same China Faction against each other. This is strange.
Many other issues will arise, such as how to portray the Korean Faction, what to do with the Vietnamese BR1-5 content, and whether an Afghanistan Faction is needed.
This is my opinion, but it is very tedious for Enlisted to move the content forward to the future as it is in historical fact…
So,What Darfkflow should do in the future is not to delve into content after BR5, but to expand the middle tier such as BR2-3 for further WW2 content, or to delve into BR before BR1 and move towards pre WW2 wars. Realistically.
But, still, if they want to add more modern weapons… the game will have to plunge into a fictional WW2, where WW2 doesn’t end in 1945, but goes all the way to the 1950s and 1960s. Hitler is turned into a zombie by black magic, Emperor Hirohito has his brain transplanted into a high school girl and becomes a cyborg samurai girl.
We can ignore any new Faction issues, etc., because we only need to enter the fantasy battlefield in the current Faction, and Japan and Germany can continue to participate in the war.
Well, as far as BR5’s fantasy Japanese army is concerned, the game is already entering fantasy WW2…
Would you like to see a world where WW2 did not end in the 1950s?
I have to admit I’m a little curious.
If they separate BR5-6 as a fantasy BR, they can force WW2 to add Cold War era weapons to it, or they can implement a fictional Tiger III. This is a dream world only for those who want it.
