Don’t be retarded. Use a bomb
And again, because there are literally 0 alternatives. There is no game like WT anywhere. Nothing with its level of detail, somewhat realism, or sheer scope of size
“this is an infantry game with some combined arms warfare, if you are scared of tanks, just go use plane”
did you read what the hell you’re typing? if i can plane, i wouldn’t stick to low BR you nincompoop. what’s next? just snipe the tank weakspot using AT rifle? or maybe just sneak up and det pack the big scary tank? dude, i’m a scrub, an eternal noob. i do NOT have the skill to do all that shit and you just casually say “lmao, just get skilled”.
I AM LITERALLY PLAYING LOW BR BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE THE SKILL FOR HIGH BR
also, i sucks at plane. whenever i play plane the enemy just sent better plane pilot, so i died.
edit: i do have the skill to be an useful ground pounder idiot for BR5 match trough sheer tenacity, but that’s just me busy not being a burden to the team. it is not fun fighting BR5 stuff using BR3 stuff. not at all.
i learned that day that BR5 maniacs can snipe you midrange using assault rifles.
Looks pretty broken
You can go front pen a sherman with whatever BR1 delusions you have. I don’t care. I care about what really happens with the game. Also mind your language. I am not here to deal with kindergarten drama either.
Lol. Literally playing a mix of I-II Commies right now 0 issue. There’s a Pz IV on the map right now. Not worrying about the fact my PTRD can’t do jack to it. Just playing the game
#1: I despise realism for the sake of realism. It’s game, it should be fun, it should be balanced.
#2: I am well aware if the ins and outs of defeating tanks and such. But I can’t do everything for my team. An example of this happened today… We may have won if I didn’t have to switch to a plane for a moment to take out a gray zone tank that was slaughtering the whole team. I can’t put down rallies, kill tanks and planes and still keep the infantry at bay. I know what to do and how to do it… but that poor BR1-2 guy who has only been playing for a week does not.
#3: You are still missing the whole point. Steam roll games are problem, and they are happening a lot. That has to be addressed when its happing almost every game with certain factions and battle ratings. You personally may not be seeing it, but I am and many others are too. I’m seeing from the community that the wide spread of BR is perceived as a major contribution to that problem. Frankly I agree
#4: You can’t expect everyone to play on your level of ability. Or have all of their equipment maxed leveled. Just having upgraded guns is a huge difference when fighting, even if it was at the same BR.
#5: Everyone’s economic situation is different. Not everyone can spend hundreds or thousand in the game. Not everyone has the best internet or the nicest hardware to play on.
Yeah buddy, I can’t do everything all at once either. That’s why I need at least 1 competent teammate to help keep some of the enemies dead so I can build my rally point, hunt enemy tanks when they show their ugly face, and try to constantly throw bodies onto the point when the opportunity arises. I can’t do these things if I’m constantly dying to that MG 34 on the high ground overlooking the battlefield. That Kar98k with scope hiding in a building. This is a TEAM game, and honestly a lot of teams just aren’t that good. 2-3 good players determine a match
I don’t know how to fix the steamrolls. Genuinely, I don’t. I blame the player base for sucking so bad that they can’t even get more than 20 kills in a match. Meanwhile top dude on both teams gets 80-100+. I genuinely think that any gun can compete against any gun. Every single one has its strengths and weaknesses. It all depends on the player behind the gun. Someone who’s put dozens of hours into a Boltie will do better than a newb with an SMG or even an LMG. Regardless of which one it is. Could be the most busted gun in the game, but someone who’s better can run them all day with a Bolt Action or other starter weapon. You have multiple lives a spawn for a reason. Use and abuse them. They may have killed you, but did they kill all of you?
Honestly, maybe BR I should be send off on its own island. I’d accept that. That’s fine. Let the newbs have their little Boltie only paradise. If you think that’ll fix the steamrolls, then by all means break off I into an isolated corner
I also don’t have maxed out guns. I have a small handful of guns I really like that I dedicated the resources to maxing, yes. I have a few more that have a level or two put into them. For the most part though? My guns are stock. Especially for everything that isn’t BR V US
I don’t have the best internet to play on. I get kicked out of matches a bit more often than I find acceptable. I’m also downgraded back to my PS4 cause my PS5 killed itself. Your hardware and internet argument is the definition of a moot point to me
No… no no… you need to go in with the bolt actions and tanks of BR 3 and go fight the Americans, you’l get a proper curbstomping and plenty of explosives and automatic weapons shoved where the sun doesn’t shine. It’s not even close, the reason being isn’t skill, but the people playing BR 3 in some queues (namely Germany) are filled with bots.
Sounds like a lack of player issue
In other words, the player base
My point being that we need more players in the queues. My paragraph may have been weirdly formed but my point is clear; some queues are filled with bots. The result is that the equipment imbalance (which isn’t a huge issue to me, I’m great with low tier weapons) and the lack of players combined leads to this one-sided fight. OP is complaining about the result of this problem, the queue problem. The equipment can take a backseat if teams can be balanced.
I feel that Br III is designed to be a gamble. You either end up in a game with Br I and II, where you will have a noticeable advantage. Or you end up in Br IV and V, where you have a noticeable disadvantage.
I also think of it as a way to remove a meta in br I and II. I imagine that if br III was removed (there would be no Br that moves between the two other permanent groups) players could design there squads with the most best Br II weapons, knowing that they will always be the person with the best equipment. Of course this happens in br IV and V, but the difference in skill level would mitigate the effect of this. (To be fair, barely ever play in III-IV-V matches, so I’m probably wrong)
except BR1 and BR2 stuff are comparable enough for the most part, and BR3 is when a lot of the fancier stuff (flamethrower, semi auto, medium tanks) gets unlocked. on the other hand, BR5 is basically BR4 but better, which as a person who was plopped into mostly BR5 stuff with only dinky BR3 stuff, is not exactly fun.
“oh, just one shot kill them with your BA lovhes! skill issue!” someone might say, but as i kill one of their squadies with my BA, they have lock on you with their assault rifle and proceed to cleanly wipe your entire squad in the time you need to rearm and aim. don’t ask how things goes with semi auto. i killed 2 or 3 dudes depending on my rifle mag size, and then the same retaliation happen.
mind you, the players in those BR4-5 matches are really nice and chatty (also probably insane), but i have to fucking sweat to just not be a burden to the team . what i amount to is basically a sneaky engineer with a shotgun who have to sneak and be a persistent unseen maggot on a corner of the capture point, because everything other gear i have can’t compare.
on the other hand, i imagine being a BR3 in a BR1-2 matches would probably either be boring or a power trip, if you manage to get there at least. i haven’t been able to get one of those before i quit playing this game to shoot rocks instead.
I played maybe 15 battles give or take few. After initial few battles, where everything went buttery smooth, when even I - non-professional in FPS games could kill someone before I was killed myself, I just got myself now into battles where our team hardly manage to leave spawn. Enemy team are coming at me with Gewehrs, while my people just start learning their few next-to-starting rifles.
MM balance is non-existing.
MM brackets should be each BR plays against the same BR, because there are better and worse weapons and player skill involved per every BR. Also there should be balancing by player levels, somehow I notice players with highest ranks are in top of the scoreboard.
Same concept like in War Thunder - don’t progress to higher tier if you are unprepared, or face the consequences. Skill does matter, it separates cannon fodder from effective squad leaders - and I love abusing others stupidity <3 . Use explosives, mines, impact grenades… whatever you need to even up the odds. Oh and leave the match if you are stuck in a team full of snipers and tier 1 tanks stuck in the ditch nearest to their spawn
