BR suggestion for the BAR variants

You can make the ones with no auto slow BR2 due to them being not as versatile as the other variants, so for example, the BAR 1918 and 1918A1 can go in T2, but the BAR 1918A2 would remain BR3. This would also apply to the gold order and premium squads that have BAR variants, including the WZ28,premium 1918,WAR,and FN mod 30.this would make the lower tier more interesting in LMG terms where you only get one or two LMGs, but this would make it more varied and interesting, while still keeping the T3 LMGs unique as well

Once I get it I will as well, looks like a fun gun to use, not good enough to be in the same teir as the MG 34 though

Agreed, the standard M1918 should either go down to T2, or they could make it a new rifleman weapon at T4-5, instead of adding progression T20s

German BAR is an absolute killer though, should stay at T3

Are you talking about the FN model 30?if so, yes it should stay BR3, but the WZ28 should be fine at BR2, it’s only slightly better than the 1918 and ist sights are less open.

Both are killers. Wz is much better than the M1918, I don’t think sights alone make it worse

When I used the 1918 in the pacific and the WZ28 in the practice range they felt pretty similar, with the WZ only having a little less recoil, and the sights don’t alone make it worse yes, but for semi and full autos you want to have fairly open sights to quickly aquire new targets easily

Im with you on this except i think only the M1918 model (the first one) should go low tier because it has no bi-pod, especially with the MG13 being low tier. I also think the M1A1 Thompson should be low tier because the MP 40 is BR II

they lowered lanchester br2 but it could be also thompson gun that gets lower

Like i said, Im not asking for the drum mag or anything like that. I would be ok with a nerfed box mag thompson going br II or the M1A1. I see the MP38 equal to the lanchester and the MP 40 equal to the low thompsons but both German weapons are BR II and 1 of the WESTERN ALLIES (a.k.a. USA) weapons that comparable is in BR III

I don’t know man. I’ve had my Wz for a while and you can do some serious damage with it, that I haven’t been able to replicate with the 1918.

I’m not saying it’s gonna be a huge problem in T2, I just think that since it can easily compete with high tier weaponry that it’s fine in T3. My opinion of course.

I’ve gone on and have seen some large killsteaks with the 1918, and it can still be kind of effective against higher tier players, not to say it should though

Im with you 100%. the 1918 should be in low tier because it’s the only bar without a bipod. sounds low tier to me

It makes sense given that the BAR 1918 is a WW1 weapon, and having the US Marines in my BR2 setup use the BAR 1918 with the M1903 on Guadalcanal Island is both historic and attractive.
However, the BAR seems too OP to place in my BR2.
The BAR serves as a good assault rifle in my BR5 setup to cross over against the StG44.
It could become too overwhelming in BR2.

nothing better tahn calling BAR M1918 “Obsolete” (which it was) and “entered service in WW1” and then putting it against mg-34s/mg-42s.

Real life and in game performance are two different things.
Just take drum magazins or automatic rifles as an example.

I am fully aware that those are two things, in just saying how “stupid” it looks
