BR IV has no right to exist, considering it is basically a copy of BR III, except ever so slightly buffed. I feel all semi autos should move down to BR III and automatics (smgs, mgs) should be split, so half goes down (BR III) and half goes up to BR IV (formerly V). If there is an odd number, or only one, then whichever side it matches stats closer to is the side it goes to.
The power discrepancy between BR IV and V almost makes BR IV a useless BR to play at, and so if it were combined with BR III, it would then be way more useful, and more people may actually play it.

Oh, and BR IV (formerly V) should be kept on its own matchmaking, without any other tier involved. That’s probably what should happen now, BR V in its own tier without influence from other tiers. BR IV and BR III can play together, and BR II and BR I. That’s what ideally the matchmaking (based off the current BRs) should look like, as they share the most in common.

BR 4 contains alot of premiums and Battlepass weapons that dont quite belong in BR 5, but smash BR 3…not to mention tanks
there are alot!

Difference between BR3 and BR4 infantry weapons is not big but vehicles are clearly better. Imo that alone is a good reason to keep it as it is.

The solution you are looking for is “separate BR5 from BR4”

add a BR6 and put jets there (and maybe whatever powercreep tanks in the future), make it so BR5 and BR6 only fight each other, make it so BR4 cannot uptier

Yeah, lets jusf devalue whole BR5. What a greate idea.
Definitely not. Just make ±0 BR MM.
As long as there’s not ±0 BR MM, adding more BRs is pure anti player move.

A hypothetical BR6 for jets and other powercreep like the Jagdtiger wouldn’t be too different from the current BR5 landscape, you’d just be offering players a choice to specifically queue BR5 and have a chance to not uptier, so people can occasionally enjoy the “old” BR5 without jets or any other future powercreep. I don’t see how this is “anti player” at all. Worst case scenario, you uptier and the status quo remains the same, best case scenario, you don’t uptier and don’t need to worry about crazy bullshit
It’s good only for those who doesn’t enjoy current BR5. But such people shouldn’t be playing high BR in the first place.
It goes against straight against ±0 BR MM. Which is like the biggest evil in similar games. Having your whole line up artificially powercrept by rng in MM. What a fun.
Really the only instances of uptiering actually being brutal is when BR1 players have to fight BR2 and when BR4 has to fight BR5
It is my belief that a mix of BR2 and BR3 can fight each other, same for BR3 and BR4, without too much issue.
It’s always brutal when you are the one who’s trying to carry his team. It’s always noticeable that you are having lack luster lineup.
And I simply don’t find it fun.
Possibility of being up tiered with your whole lineup is the biggest balance issue of the game.
Anything that is a Prototype and did not see combat in WW2 should be a BR VI.

And weapons used by a single class in WW2 should be used by that class like the fg42 is a paratrooper gun not a rifleman gun
What a pathetic way to limit enemy armament…
Sorry but 2000 being an enemy rifle for paratroopers that could not even army every paratrooper being used as a rifleman weapon , thus weapon is little different then 12 prototypes sound the same in my book 500 k that’s a weapon of mass use
It doesn’t take away the fact that he saw Combat as opposed to the Prototypes
No it does not and they would make superb paratrooper guns but representing them a common and not elite guns is false
10 000 us rangers in WW2 let’s bring all allied soldiers or hell just riflemen to us rangers standards they fought in WW2 saw combat and had thousands of members
