Bad: Silenced weapons do less damage than normal weapons.
This creates a balance for silenced weapons. And it has a less people squad and not many player own it. So I want the silenced mp40 to also go to the br2 (includes the silencer EMP).
They already have to deal with mp40 and pps43. And mp40 is not even on 2 tier of exploration so you need to grind some trash
So for you the following weapons can be rank 1 and 2 but not the silent MP 40 nor the silent Erma EMP either?

The squad is OP on BR2, with an unlocked full engineer and a AT Gunner with Panzerfaust 60. Stop it.
If u bring the panzerfaust u still be BR III though
U can change the AT gunner weapon.
even if MP 40 S is on BR II if u still bringed a panzerfaust it be BR III so u would still need to swap the AT gun to make it to II.
I’m not talking about the squad but the weapon (and the panzrfaust is tier III, not tier II)
once the Panzerfaust 60 is removed the team becomes almost useless in BR2, it only has 5 men and above all a ridiculous camouflage in Moscow. Personally it only makes sense to use it in Normandy. Give all 5 the STG-44 as a second weapon, panzerschreck for the AT gunner and yes that makes sense, even if a radio operator or machine gunner is always missing
The suppressed MP40 is a special MP40 in comparison to the MP38/40.
Yes, it may do less damage, or even maybe the fact it’s lower should lower the BR, but the issue is that when you have a squad of troops that have a suppressed weapon, the suppression itself it’s a large advantage because it’s quite difficult to hear the firing of said firearms in game while explosions and yelling, shouting and screaming are all occurring at the same time. For new players or even veterans who are playing low BR, the amount of bolt actions are prevalent which could be a disadvantage because they can be easily snuck-up on and decimated by a veteran or even a more experienced player who has the drop on some new players.

For long range shooting there seems to be no difference with or without a suppressor. Silenced mosin has a lower bullet speed and is more difficult to hit distant enemies.

YES absolutely needed. the reason for it not being BR 2 is that DF literally forgot about that detail.

→ the exact counterpart for the allies (silenced STEN) got downranked to BR2
→ this silenced MP40 is still weaker than multiple other SMGs in BR2
→ the 5 man event squad itself is weaker than a 7 man assaulter squad (the flexible engineer doesnt change much)
----> its literally just a very cool looking and fun to play squad that people would love to play in BR2 and rightfully so.
since BR3 atm is pure nonsense, having a weapon only in br3 is similar to excluding it from being played for 90% of all players, correcting that mistake and making the silenced MP40 BR 2 will improve fun in the game without balance issues and make players value event squads more.
