The game is unplayable at tier 3. It is either stomp or be stomped. I’ve had multiple matches of getting stomped by dual king tigers, stg’s, impact grenade spamming, mine spamming, full fg-42 ‘fun’.
On the other side, I’ve had complete stomps where the enemy has nothing but pz2’s and pumas versus my m4a2 and I can just constantly dump HE shells on them without worrying. It’s also the only way to get kills, because the enemy team gets stomped so hard I can’t even get to them without going into the out-of-bounds.
It’s not good and being at T3 brings nothing to the table that can compete with higher tiers, but too much for lower tiers to really stop either.
The game is very fun as any nation in tier 1 and 2. The game is not fun after it.
Suggestion: Either a +/- 1 BR spread or more tiers to allow for the powerful vehicles and weaponry later.
I’m having the same experience, i had 10 games at BR 3, 7 of those ten were an stomp victory or defeat; there is no fun in that!
the axis BR 3 tanks are way op in battle of BR 1;2;3 . they have to much armor and the only way of destroying them is if someone have an tank destroyer squad of BR 3.
It only gets worse in the later tiers. Tier5 allies is unplayable because it’s king tigers all day, every day while german mains are screaming that it’s balanced because american air is supposed to be OP (but it’s really not, the air game is pretty balanced. They’re pretending like germany hasn’t got a single good plane).
Tier 5 soviets is playable, but get ready for some of the sweatiest games you’ve had in ages. I usually roll with a full four man crew any time i play and even despite most of us being pretty good, we’ve been getting some of the sweatiest matches since we installed the game and i say this as someone who went from 1 to max level tunisia axis in battlepass season 9. There wasn’t even any cheesy bullshit, just, very intense fighting. I feel sorry for anyone going into that who isn’t already stocked up on tons of the best tier4/5 gear.
