Reasoning: (FW-190s across the board have a horrible flight model. The F190-A4 has no Payload and poor dog fighting capability (its sole purpose). Its not as good as BR 2 fighters. The FW190-A8 is more comparable to BR 3 fighters, which still have the advantage over it)

Comparable Aircraft at BR 3

FW-190 A-8 (2x rockets, 4x20mm cannons, 2x 50 cal machine guns, Very Poor Performance)

  • P51 D-5 Mustang (500kg Payload, 6 50 Cals, High Performance)
  • FP-5 Hellcat (4x HVARs and Drop tank, 6x 50 Cals, Very Performance)
  • La-5FN (100Kg Payload, 2x 20mm cannons, High Performance)
  • P-38 J (6xM8 Rockets, 20mm cannon, 4x50 cals, High Performance)

FW-190 A-4 (4x20mm cannons, 2x 7mm machine guns, Very Poor Performance)

  • Yak 7B (100kg Payload, 20mm, 2x50 Cal, High performance)
  • Spitfre MK Vb Trop (4x20mm, Unmatched turn fighter unless Zero is in the room)
  • P51-C-10 (100Kg payload, 4x50 cal, Decent performance)
  • A6M2 Reisen (120kg payload, 2x20mm cannon, 2x7mm machine gune, Unmatched Turn fighter)

The only thing this plane has going for it, is if anything gets Infront of it, it has overwhelming Firepower. But that is it. The A-8 has rockets, while nice, are limited to 2.

The Downsides:

  • All the 190s Drift terribly in dives and maneuvers making aiming a judgement exercise. (It is not a plane for newbies)
  • With their current flight models FW-190s are terrible dog fighters
  • The BR 3 La-5FN, FP-5 Hellcat and the Mustang “Accelerate MUCH” faster and are “Far” faster in a straight line while retaining the ability to dog fight with Decent Firepower. The Enlisted Resource Datamine says the FW190-A8 Has a higher top speed but you will never reach it.

*NOTE: See for yourself, spawn each plane in Practice mode, WEP and just fly straight. Its quite clear

Buffs/Fix’s:

All the FW-190 flight models need MAJOR improvements (Both the A series and the D series)

The instructor messes with the rudder causing the plane to slide.

All the 190s have far better ordnance loadouts available to add than what is in enlisted.

This plane in Enlisted does not live up to its reputation. So until this series get some love, they deserve to be at a Lower BR.

In Conclusion. Please Consider moving the FW-190 A-8 to BR 3, And the FW-190 A-4 to BR 2. Thanks!

100 percent agree, this would be a great change. the FW A-4 and A-1 should be lowered as well, since they don’t even have secondary armament.

I think they should add more bombs to a lot of place and redo some brs in my big faction topic i tried to fix many of them :
1.C. 202EC -2x50kg bombs
2.Change the BR II FW to Fw 190A-3-U3 4x50 kg bombs
3.190 a-5u2 with 500 kg bomb BR III
4. BF 109 G14 1x250 kg bomb
5.Spitfire Mk VB Trop gets 1 × G250 lb AN-M57 bomb
6.Move B5N2 to BR I
7.D4Y1 moved to BR III
8.J2M3 BR V 2x50kg bombs and also will receive 1x larger central drop tank

All this planes can get a bit more bomb options cuz right now there is no point playing them

For sure mate, Im with you there.

But atm I’m only making Posts that haven’t been made yet for BR changes on the Helpers list.

But yeah, loadouts do need to be added to alot of fighters

This planes are good but without proper bomb loads no one plays them and we have them in the game with such little effort the devs can give a lot of diversity. Spitfire VC trop vs VB by adding 1 bomb to the VB will let you consider do you want more fire power or a bomb.

Nope. Even with proper bombs they wouldn’t be good. Just less bad.
Their broken flight model is just too much.

Well not exactly you can use them as boom and zoom and if at br III had a FW with 500 kg bomb to destroy the KV tanks I would consider it even with its broken controls it takes a bit time to master it but I can fly it :smiley:

I can’t even aim it properly (though I’m not a good pilot). I’m amazed you managed to make it work somehow.

This plane is very maneuverable, and also small, you can engage with anything with them, two powerful missiles are not a big deal, but they give you a lot of power, you can easily destroy apc with this plane’s MG and rockets, if you use them well they are very deadly.
More ammo is not very useful, many times half of the p47 rockets go wrong, because the rockets are too much. Although I support the transition to br3, it is not really necessary.

Fw 190 D-12 is good at booming and zooming just dont dog fight normally I use it as a ravage plane if they shoot my fighter I spawn the Fw since its very fast you boom and zoom your killer. Just dont dog fight

That’s because compared to warthunder cannon in Enlisted still doesn’t work properly, on all plane, if they would work, be sure the bomb less FW with 30mm cannon would kill more tank than plane, because tank roof and upper armour is basically paper sheet

Well right now the cannons are very bad I don’t know why but even if they where good if you wanna use them good the plane needs to have good controls since its more important then for bombing and the FW really have very bad controls its very sensitive P 63 with the soviets have similar but a lot better so I dont know whats the balance with FW controls P-40,P63 and FW all have this strange sensitive controls and I-185 but with the FW is somehow worse then the rest …
