Bots with player names?

I am noticing that when I open the statistics I see the game full but when I start to play I notice that the enemies move very like bots, how dead is the game?

Are you playing squads or lone wolf?

The bot ones have one or two words and a number mostly and they’ll be the ones that get their squad caught on stuff.

Its almost always a 10 v 10 in squads. If a player leaves they stay on the leaderboard and a bot replaces them.

The same happens to me. I always play in solitaire mode early in the morning in European time, because I work night shift at work and, I notice that the vast majority of players out there are bots with real player names, and in the game there are 25vs25 … excuse my english, I use google translate.

I’m not sure how it works but I think when playing squads, in most cases it is 10vs 10 with all real people, people who don’t like the current map or mode will back out and a bot squad will take their place. I’ve seen conflicting information whether the squad will continue as a bot using the same name of the player that quit or a bot squad with a different name will take their place.

I have noticed within the last week, I have been put into a few matches slightly late into a match and will take the place of a squad. For instance yesterday afternoon I joined a match on Lake Beloe(iirc), one cap was already taken and I checked the scoreboard and noticed I was #12 on my team and another player joined who was put in as #13. A few seconds later two squads greyed out, and then a third squad that had a few kills, also greyed out about 20 seconds after the first two. I then went to #9 and the other player to #10. The other player was also real since he was driving a tank.
