Well, while I defintily agree that the bots still dont work as intendend™ there is the option to go to Lone Fighters… though I wouldnt really recommend either.

There must be a sweet spot between “bots unable to shoot at an enemy right in front of them” and "bots headshot you through 20 trees and foliage.
I assume the problem of the developers is that they can change bots range, precision and detection distances, but bots don’t have real sight. They don’t need a line of sight to actually detect and see a target. I have read that it is very computationally heavy task to compute a line of sight that goes through like leafes of a tree or bushed and branches.
I would do two things to fix that problem. First I would look at the player stats and the bot stats. I would try to make the bots match players stats. Especially when it comes to rifle kills at different distances!
Second I would work on a system that make the bots more human like. They should have a litte more fear! If their comrades die left and right, it’s not good to just stand around and not detect any enemies!
Then I like to see more squad commands. Do you know the frame in google maps street view, that zooms a picture if you click it? I want to have something like that to command my troops to watch or supress an area. There was this squad game I played in the past. It had controls like that! You could command your guys to take cover in a corner and watch an area. You could use the “F”-keys to assign commands to squad members. ect. ect.

It is still terrifying to walk around a corner and have 6-8 bots all turn to look at you at the same time
Had a situation like that just last night. Luckily we had a moment of a “stand-off” before I started unloading my MP38. I was able to drop 3 of them before they killed me 
I wouldn’t really complain about bot’s aiming as I believe players must remain the main threat. But yes, sometimes you wonder why they don’t shoot the guy a few meters in front while 2 minutes ago they were shooting at someone in some bushes far away.
But bots keeping walking around is really annoying. You give them the order to stay inside a house/trench while you go check or build something just to notice them walk outside and get killed. Omg stay inside !
