Bonus EXP for understaffed factions!

I think enlisted needs a system that makes playing inferior factions interesting.
The fact is that Enlisted is structured asymmetrically in comparison between the factions and the different teams have their own strengths and weaknesses.
What I think is good, this is the only way to achieve great advantages in some game modes.
So what we’re seeing is an unequal distribution of players and winrates across the campaigns.
It doesn’t make sense to level up a faction in which you almost always lose, since the better and far more real players are in the other faction.
Too often your own team is only filled with bots, that’s not fun in the filled team or in the other, which only competes against bots and 1-2 players.
Examples are Pacific axes, Normandy allies, Moscow axes, Berlin axes up to lvl 20.
That’s why we need a BONUS system that rewards the understaffed factions for playing.
What does the community think about this?

but which factions are asymetrical?

maybe if you go and play game at 3 am, the losing faction is now obliberating “winning” one?

bonuses for losing team sounds cool, but it’d be better if playing field is somehow evened instead

Considering how the recent “Balance” patch for the Pacific campaign was, I reckon bonus for the losing team’s the best we can hope for :pensive:

Enlisted lives from the fact that the different fractions have their advantages and disadvantages.
That’s a good thing and it’s also part of the game.

However, this also means that in certain areas of a fight some factions have strong advantages in terms of weaponry.

You could of course compensate for that with team play, but to be honest, that hardly ever happens and I think that’s ok.
it’s not hell at loose.

This brings me to the conviction that certain factions are undeniably underrepresented by real players or rather new players until they realize that the other faction is stronger.

And no, I’m not talking about 3 am.

It’s not about rewarding losing for me, it’s about creating balance for playing in bot teams.

You cannot balance teams whose weapon layout was completely different due to the army and their layout.
Unless you leave the historical part of enlisted completely and go in a direction of BF5 or where anyone can use any weapon.

if a team has to be equipped with superior weapons, give it fewer forces to fight with, problem solved

this is almost impossible to implement with current MM. you can have faction that in one hour has 70% of people in one faction and 30% in other, then in 10 minutes after you have opposite player distribution, just for it to switch to original.

any bonus xp would need real time feedback from MM algorithm to achieve actual balance.

What kind of solution is that supposed to be?

Again, if you don’t understand me or don’t want to understand me.

I don’t care about the asymmetry in Enlisted.
I’m concerned with the distribution of the player base in the various factions and campaigns.
I’ll leave out the splitting of the players into campaigns.
I’m concerned with a BONUS for the underrepresented faction in the respective game.
So it doesn’t matter which faction.
If you and two others are in a team and the rest is filled up with bots, you and your colleagues get a bonus.

Personally, I always acknowledge at the beginning when I see that it will be a BOT match or that there are only golden badges in the other team.
It’s a waste of time going into a game where it’s already clear from the start that there is no victory and after 5 minutes where you already have 50+ kills the rest of your team is under 10 and the first 3 for the opponent at 70 +.

Matchmaking aside, I like this idea a lot. I suppose this exists now in a twisted way in the Pacific Campaign with the Japanese side being able to afford to… well… die more than the Yanks. But that doesn’t change the fact that there’s still the same amount of players (mostly bots on Axis anyway XD) on each side.

Actually wouldn’t it be nice if Darkflow is honest enough with the player base to name the bots as… well, bots. Bot 1, Bot 2, Bot 3, so on.

They can implement this, not exactly like you say, but like this:

If you join as “fill” (dont choose side) you get an XP multiplier. Done. Now people have a reason to level both factions, & actually trying in difficult games becomes worthwhile because you still have multiplier.

I would also like multipliers for joining games in progress.

Well, the MM also fills up the teams, so why shouldn’t that be possible.

And even if it is, you can change it.

Instead of giving exp to the weakest faction, just make dayli reward task to play those faction. Right now it feel random.

A boost in playerbase is more powerfull than a tiger.

Or jusr give a 1.5 xp multiplayer reward for be in first 3 position of Losing team, problem solved

cause you need real time feedback and we actually dont have MM currently. it is queue and it creates match after one side gets 10 players. so you can have situations where you have allies overpopulation depending on time of day you play.

best solution would be to give bonus xp when you select join any so that MM can actually balance teams.
