Bombs, Planes

Playing Enlisted while using a plane that carry bombs of more than one size or even all the same size there is no way to choose if you would like to drop the size of your choice or even the choice if you just want to drop 2 at one time or the complete load. I play War Thunder and it just seems a little strange that there is a key and key bind that lets the player choose how many or fewer or which bomb size you would like to choose to drop the bomb load in War Thunder but it’s not implemented here in Enlisted, yet or if it’s even going to be. Would be great to have that choice while playing a plane/attacker or bomber.

If we may combine this with a choosing of our payloads it might be nice, but us console players don’t have enough buttons to have a separate keybinds for everything you suggested.

I guess they need to change War Thunder than because that’s supposed to be realistic and you can choose what size bomb you would like to drop first and also how many per drop.

Ya sorry I feel for you, maybe the console you use allows the addition of a keyboard and mouse. I’m not sure where you stand on being able to purchase something like that but my buddy had a mouse and keyboard set up to his Xbox and I couldn’t say anything about PS but hopefully they have one as well seeing how Xbox has it like that.
But yes it would be very nice and I say this because playing War Thunder that is a choice in the game and I just figured that hey its Gaijin and they are both almost pretty similar to each other that this would be a thing here as well.

Yes it sure is and I say this because I have been in the War Thunder scene for a LONG time and when they announced Enlisted I was thinking a lot of this would be transferred over from there. I hopped on this game when they just opened it and there were just a couple maps and got me the Twitch drops Puma and Bt7 and all that Veteran stuff but then after a little bit I just stuck with WT as this game wasn’t all together yet and really thought that the same type aircraft would be entered in Enlisted that is like playing Sim in WT and there you can switch the size and amount you feel like you would like to drop. What you say is nothing but FACTS :+1:

Enlisted seems to be using older versions/files from warthunder…Not sure why. but they are slowly incorporating the newer stuff. hopefully they update at a reasonable pace

Actually, the P47 could choose what size bomb it would like to drop first when it carried the 1000-pound and the 500-pound bombs and was able to pick what to use first. It had a specific bomb release that allowed the pilot to choose what one first. Also, the P-51D-5 could do the same thing as well. Even the American SBD-3 Dauntless had the choice of which bomb to choose to drop first. These things I say because my grandfather flew these planes during WW2.
You could be right about other aircraft not able to but for a fact these ones I mentioned do allow the choice. I honestly couldn’t tell you for a fact if the others did at the time or not.

Thanks, I came and posted it because the support said to post it in the forums because I asked is there a way to do this because I cannot find anywhere to make key binds for the bomb drops to be able to choose. I really wasn’t up to digging around to find if it was or not because it was really late and had been playing the game for almost 8 hours. So, I appreciate the information and again Thank you.

Is your friend using M&K for console on Enlisted? I wondered if I connect and then I had to manually bind everything if it would work.

Sorry i typed it wrong Yes he used Mouse and Keyboard and I meant I couldn’t honestly tell you if he had to go and manually do it

It would be something like a up/down menu selection when you choose the plane
