I’m interested in bomb damage. For example, a 250 kg bomb for German planes or a 500 pound bomb for American planes. Do these different bombs do the same damage or not? I remind you that 500 pounds is 226 kg, in reality 500 pound bombs are weaker than 250 kg. Or is the damage done the same for balance?
Also, the fact that the bomb weighs less doesn’t mean it has less explosives.
In any case, we can’t measure it
there is a great chart for this from war thunder
but this game is balanced individually with infantry in mind so i dont know how similar they are.
(the chart is also a bit old)
You don’t know the answer to my question…
It is only clear that nothing is clear. Do you think the engineer’s stationary guns have the same damage or not?
i dont quite understand the question. the same damage as what?
If you miss a tank with a 500 lb bomb it will likely do less damage than a 50kg bomb that hits the tank directly. Does that answer your question? Hitting your targets is what matters most. Unlike the good old days.
ok? what does this have to do with my comment exactly?
i was referring to this
Was meant for OP, clicked on the wrong “reply” button I guess
they gotta add overpressure mechanics. it shouldnt be tooooooooo hard since they have it in WT
I’ve literally bounced bombs off tanks many times. Thanks to the fuse timer, the bombs counce away and do little to nothing. Hitting near the tank is the only sure way to damage the vehicle.
Not with 50kg/100lb bombs. You need to actually hit the tank. And I’ve never seen a bomb “bounce”off a tank after a direct hit, shrapnel maybe, but not the bomb
I’ve bounced 100lb bombs off of numerous tanks. They’re not going to detonate on impact with a tank.
Not sure why you say that. I kill tanks all the time when I fly with small bombs. Never had a problem.
If you have video, you should post a clip of a few bombs bouncing off of tanks.
I’m not sure how to record video. I fail. lol
Well, the way it works is that if you can’t back up a claim…it didn’t happen.
Please no, it doesnt work well in WT, it wont work well here.
lol… maybe in your opinion.
