Some bolt-action rifles could be cycled on shoulder like K98K, but most were cycled by lowering the gun to the hip.
It all depends on how much force a soldier has to use.
Indeed, but the fact that the āsteel ballā of the bolt is closer to the trigger when the bolt is cranked, and the fact that your hand doesnāt block your sight when you are cycling the bolt (like when the bolt is straight and not cranked) makes me think that it would be more realistic to be able to cycle while ADS only with rifles with a cranked bolt. But as you said, there is still the āforce neededā thing, but I personally donāt know about it, Iām only talking about the animation.
