Bolt actions have tier 6?

You kidding me ?
Nearly all of them were prewar designs, comparetaviely hard to use than smgs but cheap.
Tier 6 bolt action is totally nonsense. Most tryhards at high end levels dont even use bolt too much.
So game will throw me into berlin if i select 1 mannlicher 95 rifleman for a sniper squad ?

i do agree that bolt action at tier 6 is a bit questionable.

but regarding the:

i think that’s actually smart from the dev part.

because it will allow more players to cycle through map depending on their equipment across different tiers and not be stuck per equipment year/stages.

for example, you could potentially end up in berlin with low level equipment ( mostly because of the mp3008 )

so i think it’s good for gameplay. otherwise people will get bored of being stuck in the same map just because they like X or Y tier.

earlier to say, but we’ll see.

So a rifle that designed in 1895 fits to 1945 berlin tier bcs muh newbies suffering ?
I dont need devs f… up every logic to cycle around maps.
Rifleman squad with full of mannlichers
Ok so i give them one fg 42 or gw 43 . Done
I can cycle myself without gaijin’d bullsh…t mm

not quite.

it’s more of a thing to let everyone experience more maps instead of being stucked on the same ones just because of equipment.

sure, it’s not really meant for HA. but doesn’t look like enlisted really ever cared about HA.
like, i’m saying from a gameplay perspective.

i think it’s nice to get to play more maps than the same ones.

well, that depends on your preferences and essentially availability of what you have.

tiers are meant to separate and create different matchmakers that hopefully separate newbies from veterans ( which that will not happen for certain. ) but to the very least prevents high tier equipment to be present from relatively ( and ) new players.

as i’m not sure having m5s to deal with tigers will make people happy.

Thats easier.
Actually lot more easier than coding a whole new and way more complicated mm .
With just 1 basic rule
Newbie only has bolt action → send him to any map since all rifles were prewar design
A veteran guys has tiger 1 for match → send him to berlin or normandy bcs tiger 1 canot exist in 1941 moscow , i had not even designed yet.

Cycling high tier maps with low tier weapons is easy.
Give 1 fg 42 to every bolt action carrying rifleman squads = game sends you to later war
Remove fg42 and just change the vehicle to tiger 1 from tiger 3 ( this is just an example )
Sen them to eraly war maps
The realy f …d up thing here is; why i cant use rifles that designed late 19th century -early 20th century in early ear maps ?

well, it hasn’t happened yet.

and most likely, not happening any time soon.

because a soft rule for ha, it’s not an hard one.

and still, i think it would still be realistic bolt action rifles going in berlin too.

as, last ditched weapons were a thing ( and in enlisted, there are planty )

which, speaking of HA, HA isn’t meant to be balanced. the new merge / tech tree IS.

i mean, we don’t know for certain, but most likely you will also end up in moscow / battle of france etc.

because that’s what i was pointing out, i think it’s a cool thing that we can go cycle through maps instead of the same ones. even if not 100% accurate.

the only line i would draw, would be, no russians against americans, no russians storming iwo jima against the germans, no americans in moscow against the japanese and stuff like that.

on that, i would completely agree that it would effed up.

My moscow squad whit winchester and just ptrs unupgraded
→ game sends you to berlin to take down fricking tiger 2 s :joy:
